Downtown 3 Bedroom with Tons of Natural Light

Summary:
Perfect for a large family! Capacity of 8. Just three blocks away from upper King Street. Our wonderful cultural city also offers galleries, museums, gorgeous churches, carriage tours, great shopping, and the beach is just 15 minutes away. Equipped with 3 off-street parking spots!

Please note this unit is handicap inaccessible.

The Space:
This rental is divided up into two rentals, one downstairs unit and one upstairs unit. This listing is for the downstairs unit. Both units have a 2 night minimum.

There are a total of three bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is a large living area with two pullout sofas. This apartment has a capacity of 8.

The kitchen includes a full size fridge, microwave, toaster oven, range, dishwasher, dinnerware, pots & pans, and basic cooks tools. There is a bar with barstools for dining space but NO formal dining area.

The rental has a large porch.

Guest Access:
This is a private home, guests will have access to the entire downstairs apartment.

The Neighborhood:
The property is located in the Cannonborough Elliotborough neighborhood of Downtown Charleston, which is considered the most upcoming area on the peninsula. The neighborhood is perfect for a couple or a group who is looking to fully embrace Charleston's unique charm. Step right outside your door and find a wonderfully curated mix of shops, bars, bakeries, and dining. We recommend grabbing a coffee at Island Provisions before exploring King Street, Charleston's ultimate epicenter of shops and restaurants, which is just four short blocks from the property. Our guests have a wide selection of walkable dinner options, some of our favorites include Chez Nous, Chubby Fish, Bistronomy by Nico, and Vern's. Come experience all that our beautiful city has to offer!

Getting Around:
Most everything is within walking distance. If guests do have a car, we provide THREE (3) off-street parking spaces. We suggest an economy size vehicle to help with getting around Charleston's narrow downtown streets.
There are multiple taxi services, Uber included.

2 night minimum stay.

Streaming device provided as opposed to standard cable
Check in is at 4 PM, Check out is at 11 AM.
Please consider these times when booking travel as we do not make an exceptions for early check in or late check out.
No smoking within 30 feet of the property. Violating this rule may result in fines.
Pets are NOT allowed.
Parties are not allowed. An immediate eviction will result from this rule being violated.
For safety and maintenance reasons, NOTHING is to be attached to any wall under any circumstance. Fees will apply if anything is found. This includes but is not limited to; all types of tape, adhesives, pins, etc.

Perfect location!
Our stay was in a beautiful, modern home-walking to everything we needed. The beds/ baths were perfect for my brothers and me. What was really a pleasant surprise was that there was no checkout procedure. Just pack up and leave. What a pleasure. Would recommend this property highly.

Great place to stay!
Me and my 5 other girlfriends stayed here and we were so happy with property. It was the perfect size for us (everyone had a bed to sleep in) and having 3 bathrooms for 6 women was a game changer. It was very clean! If you have trouble sleeping you will hear helicopters, so bring earplugs if you feel this will bother you! Highly recommend staying here. Will book again if we head back to Charleston.

We enjoyed our stay here. The place is very clean and well maintained! The hosts were excellent. I deducted one star for location and the rooms need some blackout curtains because there was so much light shining into the room at night due to high powered construction lights next door.

Great place & great service!
We loved our long weekend in Charleston. The house was exactly as described & had such amazing character! It was a good stretch of the legs to Upper King Street, but super easy & short Uber ride to downtown. The house was exceptionally clean upon arrival & had everything we needed, and a nice welcome basket of coffee & wine. Publix grocery store was a short walk from the house. The communication prior to check in was excellent!

Easy spot to stay while visiting the city.
We were farther away from the walking area of the city than we’d anticipated. It’s right at the hospital so you could hear the ambulances during the night, but quite cute and well updated.

Very old... Pics are from the upstairs apt, not the downstairs
The pics are from the upstairs unit, which appears to be nicer. The old , musty smell was almost unbearable the min we walked in. The renovations were beautiful, just Lots of things that still needed to be completed. The kitchen felt dirty, and the inside of the drawers and cabinets were nasty, and as well as the refrigerator and microwave! The maintenance guy, (Ken) saved the day with a new microwave, and hung a blind for privacy in the bedroom, he also brought cleaning supplies, so I could clean the kitchen. The location appears sketchy.. But was actually close walking proximity to downtown, which was nice. Overall, it ended up being OK... Just not what I expected! It needs a good, construction detailed cleaning, and I think it could earn a 4star! Maybre and Daisy were very sweet and apologetic, and were quick to react to my complaints!! I wouldn't stay there again, but.. It ended up working out ok in the end. Kim Johnson
