Did not live up to the reviews

It’s a beautiful home but did not look as listed. There was dust and spiderwebs everywhere. Trash was left in the house and down in the drain which caused nats to be all over the house. There was food on the floors and cans under the couch. The carpets are filthy. The backyard area was not clean, and needs some landscaping done. We had to clean the patio and grill just to enjoy them. Only one of the three arcade games works. The property manager was useless. First of all, her customer service skills are terrible! She should have picked up the phone and called me as soon as she got my complaint. She was texting which actually is a good paper trail. She claimed she was sending the cleaning crew back and they never came. She doesn’t answer her phone or call you back. Last, a cleaning crew let themselves in the garage and banged on the basement door as if they didn’t see the 4 SUV trucks in the driveway. They were a day early!. Pauline, the property manager, didn’t tell them we added another day back in May.

Nightmare

This was the worst experience I have ever had renting a vacation property. The host is non-responsive. There was some kind of error in our booking so that our booking was not showing up in our VRBO account. The host would not help us rectify this situation at all. We left over 10 phone messages and never received a call back. We were planning a large family reunion and until the week of our rental were never able to get confirmation that we even had the rental. The host wouldn't share check-in information until the last minute and when we went to check in our codes didn't work because they decided to change them. We called the host and never heard back. The house itself is OK. Imagine a beautiful house that no one has taken care of for 20 years. Stains all over the upstairs carpets, master bedroom shower was broken, recliners in the theater room were broken, no dish towels, no pot holders, sheets and towels were left in the dryer for us upon our arrival, lots of light bulbs that were burnt out. Mattresses and pillows were old. Avoid!

Would Not Recommend

Unfortunately, I would not recommend this rental. We left pretty disappointed. Below is an honest review.PROS- Size of house- 2 fridges & coffee pots- Shuttle to & from mountain CONS- Check-in process was very disappointing. I paid for early check-in, but when we arrived at the house, the code wasn't properly set up (someone else said they had this same issue). We waited outside almost an hour. - The listing is not entirely accurate. For example, the master bedroom did not have a single bed next to the couch. And there was no queen bed in the loft, just a single bed.- The "bedroom" in the office on the main floor is hardly a bedroom. That was somewhat misleading.- Several lights throughout the house were missing light bulbs. The closet in the master bedroom was without a light. - A lot of the lamps and various decorations throughout the house were wobbly, old and on the verge of falling apart.- The chairs/furniture in the theater room are really beat up.- The basketball hoop is pretty much unusable.- A lot of items in the kitchen were dirty (we cleaned every glass, pot/pan and plate before using them)- There was a lot of junk/storage in the garage- Not enough towels and the towels they did provide were old and dirty

Poor communication

Paulina took long time to respond when the lock was not programmed. Asked several question with no or late responses. The house is amazing, the back steps-patio should have been blown off. Very clean.

perfect spot for a multi-family trip!

We stayed here with a few families with kids and the location was perfect. super easy and convenient with the shuttle buses down to the resort- stopped right in front of the house. The house was clean and spacious and had lots of fun things to keep even the non-skiers busy. we had a few minor issues that the owner addressed right away. Great communication. Would definitely stay here again!

Memories Made

This was an absolutely beautiful home! Kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking essentials. Property owner was flexible with check in times and response was quick with any questions. HIGHLY recommended!

Nice house, not as nice as the pictures make it look

The good: everything works as described. Beds are comfy. Plenty to do in the house. Access, check in, and check out procedures are super easy and convenient. The bad: the couches in the theater room are in need of repair. The dehumidifier in the sauna room doesn't have a pump and needs emptied frequently to continue running. Several windows missing screens which allow roof access and bugs. Overall, it's a nice place to stay and I'd definitely go there again! Just a few things here and there that need addressed

Perfect

This was the perfect house for our ski weekend with family and friends at Seven Springs. We enjoyed the skiing but with the lack of snow this winter the house exceeded expectations. The boys loved the basketball court, game room, and theater room. We all enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. Plenty of room for all of us! FYI the shuttle service to ski was fantastic. We look forward to coming back!

Lovely stay with large family

This home has lots of room and can sleep many. We had an issue with the heat for the first two nights. We had some engineers in the family that tried to reset and fix it over a dozen times. Thankfully the host was receptive to the problem and had people out to fix ASAP. The problem is now fixed so this is unlikely to be a problem for anyone else moving forward. Being one of the largest homes in Seven Springs, it is likely to meet the needs of your large family very well.

Phenomenal Experience

Everything was exceptional! The place was clean, spacious, and accommodating. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. We had a large group (15) of employees that stayed, and everyone felt comfortable, and like they had enough space to themselves and wonderful open spaces to gather as well. It was cold the first night & took a little bit of time for the heat to catch up due to the large open spaces, but once we got the fireplaces going and some firewood, it was super cozy! We are already talking about coming back next year!! Lindsey was a delight to deal with, the property maintenance was responsive, and the HOA plows did a great job keeping the roads and driveway taken care of.

House has everything you need!!!!

The house is so great and has everything you need for a fun weekend! Location is amazing. For what you pay though it would be nice for them to have wood available to you for the fire and they 100% need a new couch in the family room. For a place that sleeps so many they need a much larger couch. The one there is gross and falling apart. It’s supposed to be a sectional but its split up in two because it’s broken. Please replace the couch. Other than that place is wonderful and great times were had by all.

Christmas at Seven Springs

One of my daughters 1st reactions when getting into the home was that we were in the wrong house. Kudos to the person who took the pictures of the home as they looked much more impressive than the actual interior. - Furniture in the family room was much older and in poor condition as opposed to what was shown on-line. - Fireplace was full of ash which I eventually had to remove before the Fireplace could be used. - There were no fireplace tools. These had to be requested and arrived the day after our arrival. - We were a party of 20. There was an insufficient amount of dinner ware (all of which was a mismatch of different plates etc.) - There were only 4 Wine/Cocktail glasses in the house. - The day after arriving and after having written a text message to the house manager, we received multiple boxes of dinner ware and glasses. We had to unpack them and then wash them all before using. Not something I envisioned doing on vacation. - the only fire extinguisher in the house was dated 2007. They are supposed to be replaced yearly. A new one was delivered the following day. - Cooking pots were dirty and had to be cleaned before use. - Pool table in the basement but no chalk provided? We had to look for and purchase our own. - Shower door on the main floor BR (old office) was broken and made the shower unusable. - Gas Fireplace in one of the upstairs Master Bedrooms was not working. - Sheets on the bed in one of the upstairs Bedrooms were dirty and had to be washed prior to use. - Shower off of the 2nd bedroom on the main floor was moldy and had to be sprayed prior to use.required. - Majority of chairs in the Theater Room were broken. The house manager was responsive to text messages and claimed no knowledge of the conditions and basically blamed it on the failure of the cleaning crew to advise her prior to our arrival. That shouldn't fly as an acceptable response. The Management company should be inspecting the home prior to a new tenants arrival and assure that the house is in an acceptable condition. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Excellent Accommodations and Amenities

We loved staying here for a week. Comfortable and ample beds, great entertaining and entertainment options, (theater room could use some tech upgrades the only exception), and an amazing kitchen. We must have used the sauna every day which was wonderful. Would definitely love to stay here again for future visits.

Amazing!

This is the second time staying at this place. We absolutely love it! Four families stayed and we were all very comfortable no one was on top of one another. The basement is amazing! Kitchen is well stocked location of the mountain is very easy to get to. Maybe looking to book next year! We love it so much

Even bigger than it looks

This place was awesome, had a blast with four families for our annual ski trip to 7 Springs. The floor plan really worked well for adults and teenagers to have their own hang out zones. Basement was a ton of fun with pool table, games and a huge bunk room. Property is on a bus route which was very convenient for getting to and from the slopes. This was a great perk and let people manage their own schedules.
