"We enjoyed our stay at this cute cabin with a great view located close to town. The hosts were excellent at communication and responded quickly. The deck is the focal point and is great for sitting out and admiring the water, enjoying an evening fire or cooking out dinner. My only complaint is in sleeping comfort. The bed in the main bedroom was so hard the first night that we switched to the other bedroom the second night. In that room, the bed was much better, but the window blind is too small...

" The proximity to the things we wanted to do made this a good choice. We enjoyed the layout of the place, esp. the porches to enjoy coffee and watch wildlife. Our bed was was comfortable as well, very important to us. Appreciated the washer/dryer! A note to navigation: Having read another of the reviews that expressed concern about Hilltop Road, we found Jaggers Rd to be a great option as it is paved. "

"My wife and I stayed for a weekend getaway. The property was great. There were many unlisted amenities. Do recommend. Maybe its intentional(bright evenings), but the limbs of the trees did obscure the lake view a bit. "

"Me and My girlfriend stayed the weekend at Vickie’s cottage and left very relaxed! We visited Daniel Boone National Forest only 10 minutes away during our stay. We had an overall relaxing time at the cottage, enjoyed the fire, the view, and cozy bed. Thanks vickie for making it so comfy and enjoyable!"
