"This was just a short weekend trip for my friend and I. It was a decent stay. It could have been a bit cleaner to my liking, but it wasn’t awful. My friend and I did end up buying a shower mat since the one in the shower/tub was a bit dirty and another pillow because the second bedroom only had two rather small ones. "I stayed here with my siblings and my niece and nephew. We were attending the Chalk the Walk festival and visiting our Dad. I loved how downtown was within walking distance. The bedrooms were perfect for the twins and we had the main room to watch TV. There was a back door that allowed us to load and unload our luggage. Parking spaces behind the building were appreciated too. The full kitchen was perfect for meals and a good game of euchre. I would stay here again."

"We were in Iowa for a wedding and reunion. We like this location as it is close to our family, but gives us some individual space. We enjoy that their is a bar/restaurant across the street and the grocery store is also in walking distance. It would recommend adding a small bistro table and two chairs for those who want to eat meals in."

"Maquoketa caves state park was on pur bucket list to stay and I wanted a cabin with firepit and bonus if it had a whirlpool tub to soothe our muscles after hiking. This checked all the boxes for us. We especially liked that there were 2 beds...one felt more firm and the other more soft like ours at home. We were entirely comfortable. Would definitely recommend!"

"This place is a cute studio apartment located right downtown, along the river. It’s right across the street from the Freight House which offers the awesome indoor farmers market on weekends. There is a nice walking path along the river. There’s the awesome baseball stadium across the street with minor league games and is home to St Ambrose baseball. Also remember the train runs along the river very frequently. And this train has a very loud and long blowing whistle. Even with the windows and...
