"Coming from Texas, we wanted to experience the changing leaves and the nature trails in the area but were pleasantly surprised when we found ourselves staying on a plot of civil war history. Our cabin was delightfully cozy, and the creek was a very nice place to sit near for our morning coffee. The views of the mountains from the front porch as the fog cleared were impeccable and we have already saved this spot in our list of places to visit again. "

"We brought the family down for the Battle of Pilot Knob weekend, and this was the perfect place for our stay. It was just a few miles from Fort Davidson, easy to find, quiet, and clean. We loved the screened in porch and all the open space surrounding the house. The beds were comfortable, and the wifi good enough to stream Netflix on the large TV. The bathrooms were small but just fine for a weekend getaway. "

"We had a great stay and were so impressed with the design and beautiful furnishings. We enjoyed all the personal touches and the apartment had everything we needed. David and Stephanie are gracious hosts and it was so nice to talk with them and discover they have so many wonderful plans for other projects in Ironton.
