"We are so glad we stayed here. These two units open up to each other, and although there isn't a full kitchen like a condo would have, there is a nice kitchenette. Staying up on the mountain was great because we really enjoyed the amenities up there and especially Jose's outdoor bar right at the bottom of the slopes. Had we stayed in town, we may not have enjoyed the mountain as much, yet by driving into town, we were able to enjoy the town as much as we desired. So, for us this was the perfect...

"The property was great, we had everything we needed, the setting was very peaceful and serene. The owners were great, very responsive and even texted us when a herd of bison was nearby. We saw elk and mule deer every day of our stay in the pastures behind the house. The patio area was great for morning coffee and afternoon beverages. The location was great with hiking trails nearby, and Golden and Red Rocks very close. We had a great stay. Highly recommend."

"Grand Lodge hotel room that is a VRBO. It has excellent access to the ski lift. It is only a two minute walk to start your ski day (or Summer hike). The staff at the Grand Lodge is always friendly and extremely helpful. The location is perfect. Once you walk out the front doors you are almost in the bus line for downtown. This is awesome. Once you park at the hotel…..you don’t have to worry about driving at all :) Only bummer…..the room doesn’t have a microwave."

"Our Jeep trip to ouray was made great with this stay right on main street downtown Ouray! walking distance to everything. This retreat was clean and well equipped for our purposes, in a very convenient location with access to mountain trails by day, and downtown amenities at night,"
