"For a cheap motel in a small town, this was about as good as it gets. Clean carpet, comfortable bed with clean sheets and good pillows, lots of clean towels. The bathroom sink and countertop were brand new (unexpected)....the toilet and bathtub were old but entirely adequate. The window curtains were ripped and the AC unit looked like it was on its last legs but worked well. Quiet overnight, big breakfast offered (though standard continental stuff, and not all of it fresh). Overall, slept great...

"Property was clean, well maintained and hosts were available without being at all intrusive. Wonderfully located on the river with a beautiful deck, this was a perfect peaceful getaway. There is nothing to do here except relax, enjoy the river/deck and rest, which is exactly why we were there. Strong internet connection was a plus. Access to the river was available and if you're into fishing/floating the river, this location is perfect for that."

"We stayed 2 nights in unit 2 in June 2024. Check in was chaotic and unorganized. The deck on the river is lovely, relaxing and as advertised. Everything else was substandard from checkin, to the overall state of the aging 4-plex units to the cleanliness. There was an empty beer bottle in the fridge left from the prior guest. "Renter beware!!! This home is surrounded by what I can only describe as Meth houses.. The host was impossible to reach and gave us inaccurate instructions to obtain the keys to the home. There is zero cell reception, so we were at the mercy of someone checking on us to make sure we arrived. After waiting quite some time the host showed up and gave us a generic code to obtain the house keys. As we unloaded our luggage, the host follows us in the home with her three dogs who ran through the house...

"I think I’ve stayed at this property at least 8 times since 2001. I love this house, this lake, this property, this area. If you fish - especially fly fish- this lake is beyond special. It actually is leased and maintained by the Oregon Fishing Club and it private unless you stay at this house/cabin. "The house in the pines was a fantasic stay. I would sit and look out those windows for hours. We had amazing sunrise and sunsets this trip! The beds were comfy and loved the layout of the house. We had a few things come up and Jacob was responsive. Though one couldnt be fixed during our stay, it was easy to make contact with him. This house will be on our radar next time we come visit. "
