"Amazing ranch. Cake into town for a wedding in McKinney and not a bad short drive away. It did rain quite a bit so heed the warning on the dirt road- it was quite muddy. Upon arrival for check in at 4 the crew was still cleaning. We just packed up and ran to the grocery store, but had hoped with the later check in time we could have dropped our bags first. The property manager was very attentive and brought more propane as requested. All in all, beautiful home, exactly what we needed to escape...

"We enjoyed our stay at this lovely VRBO after our daughter had our newest grandbaby. We were able to bring our two other grands over to this home and keep a close eye on them to let the newborn and Mom & Dad get settled in. This home has 3 bedrooms downstairs and one loft, so it was very convenient to have one room for each of the other children without needing to go upstairs. The kitchen is well-appointed, and the house was very cozy. Also a plus -- it's VERY near all the shops and restaurants...

"Very nice home with modern decor and plenty of bedding. The table was large, and it seated my entire family for meals. The back patio was very comfortable to enjoy while the kids used the hot tub. "

"I was looking for a place for a couple of days of solitude to pray, think, and write. This lodge fit the bill. Beautiful view of the lake, simple, quiet, and convenient. You feel like you’re out in the boonies, but Walmart is less than 5 mins away. James was a great and communicative host. Self check-in/check-out was easy. Highly recommend. "

"This was great for our trip back home to visit family. It was quiet and tastefully decorated. The portable cooktop could probably stand to be replaced, but it was still pretty functional and suited our needs for occasionally cooking our own meals."

"The property is beautiful. The pool area is large with shady and sunny areas. We brought extra chairs. The ballroom provided a cool area for setting up the cornhole game we brought. All ages enjoyed playing pool. Various games were available for both children and adults. We had no trouble finding things we enjoyed doing. There was no working ice maker on the property. The property manager stated they are going to install an ice maker separate from the refrigerators. Some of the pictures of...

"Great house for large group! The kitchen has everything you need, the bedrooms are super comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet. We had a lot of rain but had a great time playing pool and other games provided. Great location, beautiful property, owners were very helpful and checked on us to make sure things were going well."

"Met up with family for Christmas. The cabin was clean and accommodated our needs. We appreciated the attention to detail. Very comfortable bed. Absolutely loved the large kitchen island, plenty of space for prepping our Christmas meal and wrapping gifts. It was rainy so didn’t get to be outdoors and enjoy the pond or porch as we had hoped. "We had a family gathering at the Tranquil Country Escape. The kids loved fishing in the pond. Please note the dock in pictures is closed. You'll need to fish from the bank. The beds were nice new memory foam type. The home was really clean. There were plenty of paper towels, trash bags and other home essentials. Lake Tonkawa State Park was about 40 mins away. Close enough for a day trip to go hiking, kayaking and swimming. We would stay here again."
