"This was our second vacation here. It a beautiful quite area. The front porch early morning with coffee is so relaxing . Theres a down stairs bedroom. Perfect for those don't want to climb the stairs lol. The back deck is great for grilling. Threres a washer and dryer so you canwash out swim suits after a day at the beach ."

"This was our third time at this cottage; while Cedar Island is somewhat remote (it's a gorgeous hour-long ride into the main towns), it is a terrific central base for a wide range of day trips. Ocracoke ferry station is at end of street, making for an amazing ride, lunch, beach trip, and walk around the historic village. Tryon Palace is an easy drive on a cloudy day that isn't good for the beach. Cape Lookout is a marvelous trip for shelling and solitude. Beaufort has wonderful restaurants and...
