"My husband and I came here right after our wedding in Charlottesville to spend a few days away with our dogs and unwind. Safe to say that our dogs would have preferred we move in! We really enjoyed our time here and took the kayaks out several times with our dogs swimming alongside us or racing on the banks of the creek. "The name perfectly represented this wonderful weekend getaway. Our only disappointment was we didn’t have enough time to enjoy all the surrounding local attractions. We were fine just sitting on the porch relaxing and visiting with family! Will definitely return for more hiking and exploring."
