"A great base to take trips out from. The house was perfect for our family. We cook a lot and there was everything we needed to prepare home cooked food for our family. We all settled in very easily with very clear instructions from the owner. The town is very quaint with lots of walks locally and a bit further afield. "After a couple of weeks seeing the UK and Ireland with 9 of our kids and grandkids, we wanted a few days to rest. We loved being in the Sligo area and dining at the nearby Beach Bar. Downpatrick Head was great to see & we even drove to the Giant’s Causeway while we were in the area. Sheila’s house was a nice place to rest and relax. We loved attending church in nearby Screen. A great ending to a great trip!"

"Lovely property on Aughris Head. We were able access locations throughout Co Sligo. It was a bit hard to find initially but the EIR code made it easy (ask the host for this and enter it in Google maps). We loved being surrounded by sheep, green pastures, and the sea. Host was responsive and helpful."

"The stay was wonderful and perfect for our family. Our host, Chris, was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions or problems. However, our dealings with VRBO has been a nightmare when it came to payments and confirmation of our stay. At this point I have been charged with 3 payments instead of 2 totaling 500 euro more than the fee for the property. I have made numerous bookings with VRBO but this one will be my last."

"The gate house we were put in is nothing like the main house rooms which are advertised. It was freezing cold, run down, beds worn out, mold in showers, 1 shower leaked all over the floor, no included breakfast, narrow spiral staircase to upstairs bedrooms. Definitely not a 4 star property. Very disappointed. "

"Property is beautiful, rooms were lovely. The only issue we had was with the shower, (i think the mixing valve is going). Showers ranged from close to scalding to freezing. They did send someone to look at it and offered a new room but one person in our group was already asleep so I declined. But aside from that, would still stay here again. "

"O hotel está totalmente reformado. O estacionamento ainda não está pronto, obrigando-nos a parar na rua. A cama é super confortável e o quarto é espaçoso. O aquecedor é digital, o espelho do banheiro acende e os amenities são de ótima qualidade, embora de perfume muito sutil. Deveriam deixar os dados de Wi-Fi no quarto ou entregarem junto com as chaves no check in."
