"Wonderful to be able to stay in very comfortable, well maintained and spacious 17th Century accommodation. The Crown Hotel is the hub of the village. My room at the back overlooked the garden and rooftops so noise was minimal. Food was cooked to order, the included breakfast was marvellous with an excellent choice of hot and cold options including plant based ‘milks’. "An old English local pub/hotel. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. Nice evening meals. Suited my needs of 'a bed for the night'. The room was clean with TV, kettle, tea, coffee and milk."

"Was a nice room. But wow was it roasting hot. We could find anywhere of turning the heating down or off so had a very hot night, even with fans on. The toilet however had no heating so was the opposite and freezing. Nice to have our own little room but think it was too pricey, compared to the many other hotels we stay in for major race events. Breakfast was toast, yogurts or 3 choices of cereal, nothing for vegetarians and not really a continental as offered. "
