Holidays House Villamaria is situated on the branch of the ancient Via Appia, behind a splendid century-old pine forest bordered by the Mediterranean Sea, in the town of Castel Volturno.
Immersed in a private green park with a separate access, has been completely renovated in the spring of 2008, furnished with elegant and modern taste. The rooms are spacious and welcoming and are equipped with air conditioning and all comforts for a pleasant and relaxing stay. It's surrounded by extensive gardens, meadows and areas for grilling and outdoor dining on board pool, and is therefore ideal for families with children and to spend their holidays in complete relax. The garage for the housing of the car has a laundry and a kitchenette attached; the swimming pool, with solarium and hot shower, enable you find refreshment on hot summer days and allow oneself a beneficial tanning in complete privacy. The sandy beach is equipped with restaurant, swimming pool and children's entertainment, is distant about 1 Km easily attainable on foot or by bicycle. For lovers of nature in the pine forest you can make jogging and hiking with mountain biking, while for those who wish to engage in sporting activities a few steps you will find tennis grounds, the most largest golf course in Campania and facilities for riding. Located less than 30 minutes drive from Naples, Caserta and the Airport of Capodichino, Villamaria enjoys a unique location for those wishing to combine a stay of leisure to visits the places of art.

Italian delight
Lovely villa with own pool. Met by owners who couldn't have done more for us. Greeted with wine, bread and mozzarella. Did days out to Capri, Pompeii and palace in Caserta. Lovely to come back to villa at end of the day to relax by the pool.

Lovely week relaxing in the villa. Villa was clean and tidy. Lovely idea of providing bread, cheese and wine on our arrival. A few minor issues were resolved very quickly with the owner. Food shops were within walking distance. Local area and neighbourhood could do with a bit of TLC. Great bread shop at the end of the road.

Wonderful house with pool
The house was just great. All you need after a day at the beach or a day in Napoli is there. The house was very clean, garden is just lovely and the pool refreshing. On top of that Massimo and his family have made us feel at home from the moment we arrived and have given us many ideas to explore the area. We stayed here with a family of two adults and two teenagers.

Wir waren am Samstag zu früh angekommen, durften aber unser Gepäck schon mal in der abgeriegelten Garage lassen. Wir haben den Pool ausgiebig genutzt. Der Pool wurde 2 mal in der Woche gereinigt. Super fand ich die Aussendusche, wenn man mal nur sich kurz abkühlen wollte. 😉 Wir waren Hauptsächlich. Was ich auch toll fand, die kleine Stereoanlage beim Sitzplatz. Haben immer Musik gehört. Im Haus war alles schön sauber. Leider hat es keine grosse Teller u. grosse Gläser. Aber es ging trotzdem. Kommunikation war bisschen schwirig, aber mit Hände u. Füsse ging es auch gut. Das Haus ist sicher sehr Empfehlungswert. Die Umgebung, naja, könnte sehr viel schöner sein. Alles in Allem, haben wir die Zeit genossen, konnten uns erholen und relaxen.

Excellent Villa to stay in for a family
Fabulous villa and host, clean and well equipped villa for a family stay. Quiet and remote behind security gates. Within easy reach of Naples and the Amalfi coast, which worth the visit. 10-15 minutes walk to restaurants around but not much else in the immediate area. Safe base to journey from. Hosts were superb at looking after us and making us feel very welcome.

Wonderful
My family and I stayed here for 2 months. The listing matched exactly what we saw. We had a wonderful greeting from the family. They were kind and responsive to any questions we had. The kitchen is fully equipped and the pool is lovely. The porch and exterior were fantastic for meals and gatherings and my kids loved the pool! We mostly stayed at the house or traveled by car to eat and shop. Directly outside the gated community was not as family-friendly as the home. Overall we had a wonderful time and were so happy to stay here.

Leider hatten wir einen Nachbar der so laut war, als hätte man neben einer Dicotheke gewohnt.
Die Vermieter sind sehr nett, sie haben sich bemüht es uns angenehm wie möglich zu machen, aber der Nachbar war leider nicht einsichtig, somit war es mit schönem Urlaub rum.

El trato de los propietarios así como la propiedad en sí, hay que calificarla de EXCELENTE. Unicamnete la situacion y el entorno del inmueble no eran muy agradables, pero siempre íbamos en coche, y no tuvimos ningún problema.

Villa superbe
Nous avons passé 8 jours très agréables : acceuil parfait et chaleureux, villa très propre, spacieuse et très bien entretenue : il ne manque rien. Le jardin est magnifique! La maison est très bien située pour découvrir Naples, Pompéi, Capri et Sorrento. Ce qui permet de faire abstraction de l'environnement. Cependant à aucun moment nous ne nous sommes sentis en danger : la maison étant bien sécurisée. Merci à Massimo et à ses parents pour leur accueil !

Maison superbe mais localisation à éviter
Maison très propre, très belle et piscine très agréable. Grand frigo idéal pour une famille de 5 personnes. Climatisation dans les chambres et moustiquaires à toutes les fenêtres pour pouvoir aérer sans problème. Nous avons été très bien accueilli par les propriétaires souriants, qui nous ont offert un panier de bienvenue avec charcuterie, pain et mozzarella. Nous avons aussi profité des citrons de la propriété tous les jours, un régal ! La villa est très bien sécurisée : garage couvert et fermé, maison en bout de rue sécurisée par un portail. Et pour cause car c’est le point négatif : l’environnement de Castel Volturno est assez horrible. Les immeubles sont délabrés et la station est très mal fréquentée. Le centre commercial est à l’abandon avec quantité de magasins fermés avec rideau de fer et seulement 10 voitures de clients sur le parking : on se demande vraiment où on est tombé. Nous sommes allés en voiture près du port et de la plage (c’est déconseillé d’y aller à pied pour des raisons de sécurité...) pour chercher un restaurant et nous avons abandonné tellement le coin était peu rassurant. Bref, une maison très agréable mais l’environnement n’est vraiment pas idéal. Il faut bouger pour visiter et profiter de Naples, du Vesuve, Pompéi, etc.

Amazing accomodation
We stayed at Casa Villamaria for a week; our group consisted of 4 adults and three children and there was everything you could ever wish for. Massimo and his family were welcoming and kept the property immaculate. There was a travel cot provided for the baby and a highchair upon request. We were greeted by the family who had prepared homemade wine, cured meats, mozzarella and bread for our arrival. They left us to enjoy it and it was a great touch after a long journey. The property is equipped with everything you could ever need. The bedrooms were large and all fitted with air conditioning which allowed for a comfortable nights sleep in the summer heat. There were two internal bathrooms which were large and had walk in showers. There were also two outdoor showers which had both hot and cold water. The pool is large and well maintained - it really did make for a perfect stay. There is an outdoor BBQ which was great and a pizza oven which we did not have opportunity to use. There are numerous lemon trees in the grounds of the property with large and ripe lemons on which we used throughout our stay. There is a detached garage which you are able to use for a vehicle which is essential to travel around the area. The property is approximately 25 minutes from Naples. There is a washing machine and dishwasher provided which assists with family living and a large covered patio area with a dining table, tv, sound system and table football - you are really able to embrace the outdoor living. The accommodation is simply perfect and out of all the villas we have stayed in over the years this is definitely one of the best, if not the best we have stayed in. The area is a little rough and ready, but there is a large shopping center within half a mile (Gioli) which has a large supermarket within. There is also a smaller supermarket approximately 500 metres away (left at the bottom of the street). There is a large immigrant population in the town but although the area appears to be a little run down we felt safe at all times. The villa is actually situated at the bottom of a gated community. The photographs of the villa are amazing on the website but they still do not do it justice - it really is perfect. I would recommend this villa to anyone. Villa very high quality. Massimo, Donato and Maria very welcoming hosts, providing us with lunch, wine and limoncello. Just a shame that he town of Castell Voltorno does not match the quality of the villa.

La villa est super
Nous avons passé 10 jours à villamaria. Super propre, les propriétaires sont très agréables. Ils font tout pour rendre notre séjour agréable. Je recommande vivement cette location. De plus l endroit est super sécurisé.
