"Gorge retreat was such a terrific spot for our mom’s weekend! The house was beautiful and nicely appointed -and that View is stunning! We would definitely stay here again!"

"Everything lined up with the listing: great view, beautiful home, fun game room. Got surprised (coming from a city) at how dark the night sky was. Really enjoyed the stars. The Gorge is a beautiful place. Whether you are visting for the first time or are practically a local, this house is close to everything you will want to do. Have rented places along both the WA and OR sides of the river in the past, and this is my new favorite property."

"Great house, although the internet was slow. we really enjoyed to location, view, and amenities."

"This home is nestled into a beautiful wooded area along the Washsougal River. It was so peaceful and relaxing that we could have stayed another week or two. The log cabin is spacious and quaint. It provided everything we needed from a stocked kitchen, comfy beds, plenty of towels and chairs for hanging riverside. I enjoyed running along the winding roads that provided gorgeous views. We would love to come back and stay here again. We didn't want to leave!"

"This house and service we received from the host was top notch. It was so welcoming and comfortable and the host checked in periodically to see if they could be of additional assistance. Location was convenient and the hot tub was a nice way to wind down each night."

The communication with host was great. Others have mentioned the temperature control issues. It must have been fixed because we had no issue. Doors and stairs were squeaky. "

"Wow what an amazing view. We only spent two nights but would stay here again. It was also in a good location near a lot of things. As we were leaving we had a great breakfast at the Egg River Cafe. Even if you do like we did and get one pancake to share you they are a must try. The only thing I did not really care for was the fact I booked on VRBO and then the management company wanted me to sign up for their app which I did not do."
