The accommodation itself was spotless, very well stocked with kitchen equipment and appliances, we had the two cottages which made up the stables, so 2 kitchen and lounge areas, we tended to use the larger kitchen for eating and the smaller cottage lounge as it was...

"The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed. A minor niggle, but it was a bit cluttered with cushions and throws in the sitting room - the throws just slid off the leather sofas and the cushions were too big and too many, so were surplus to requirements. The location suited us very well, with a host of lovely walks and places to visit nearby. We had a wonderful break and can recommend!"

"Photos certainly do not do this house justice. We were a party of 9 adults and one dog and we had so much space. We particularly loved the huge kitchen table where we spent lots of time chatting, playing games etc. Highly reccommended."

"I booked this lodge via VRBO as a mini break for my birthday with my 8 year old son. The VRBO website clearly stated that the lodge had a private hot tub, as did my booking confirmation. However, upon arrival I discovered that there was NO hot tub. The actual lodge was lovely but VRBO mis-advertised the property. "Was left over chinese takeaway in fridge. Bed sheets were disgusting, lots of hairs and stains. Cups were unwashed. Decking was so slippy, green molud, nearly had a bad fall. Fold away chairs in main bedroom which seems to be from outside had spider nets. We came home after being there few hours and was meant to stay 4 nights. We were so disappointed, angry, deflated as saved up our hard earned cash for our 4 nights away and ended us coming home before we should have. "
