"The property is a delight. It’s cosy clean and warm. Not many places offer a view of an ancient castle. Richard shows huge interest in how guests recycle. The compost bin meant all our food waste doesn’t go to land fill. It’s our second time staying in Castle Cottage and would not hesitate to recommend this gem of a place to stay. "

"A comfortable cottage in a wonderful temperate rainforest location and near to a community woodland. There are lovely local walks and it's a good base from which to explore Mull. The cottage has been recently redecorated and is very well equipped including with board games for adults and children. There is a good library of books. The twin bedroom is more suitable for children or teenagers as the beds are low and close together which presents some problems for anyone older or with mobility...

"We stayed in ‘The Bothy’ at Artun. Mrs Cameron met us and made us feel welcome. The position of the Bothy was good for us as it was close to the loch and we saw an otter. We enjoyed the peaceful setting. Thank you."

"Incredibly beautiful location, very peaceful!! Views of isle of Mull. And everything you need on site, except it's a bit far from provsions, so prepare by stocking up with groceries, petrol and beverages before you get there. "

"Melfort Village is terrific. Beautiful setting and marvellous accommodation. There is a pool, tennis court, putting green, restaurant /bar (great food)and lots of space. "The Lochaline Hotel is located in the tiny village of Lochaline, which is reached by a rather long drive on a single-track road. Although remote, the hotel rewards a stay with its peacefulness. It is located right on the sound. The ferry runs frequently to Mull and no reservation is needed. Our hosts were warmly welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and had a wonderful view of the sound. The breakfast was excellent and cooked to order."
