Luxury Lodge with shared Pool and free in lodge WIFI

Enviably located on South Lakes Leisure Village, the proud recipient of the David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award and a Visit Britain 5* Park is our Luxury Lodge.


CORONAVIRUS PLEASE NOTE:
If the park has to close due to Covid we will offer alternative dates or a refund .

Due to the current situation we have positioned Hand Sanitizer for guest use as you enter the lodge , and the lodge will be cleaned to a a high standard by Owners rather than a cleaning company to avoid unnecessary footfall .
We will also be operating a contactless check in .

The Lodge with Lake views is light and spacious and offers a very comfortable and relaxing stay in wonderful surroundings.

The open plan Lounge/Dininig area has 2 reclining leather sofas, a living flame electric fire, smart HDTV and WIFI connection.

French doors lead out on to the spacious decking area.

The dining area comfortably seats 6 .

The kitchen is well equipped with Electric Oven and Gas Hob, built in Fridge Freezer, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster, Dolce Gusto coffee machine and a Blender/Juicer.

The master bedroom has built in wardrobes, matching bedside tables, TV , hairdryer and an Ensuite Shower room with electric shaver point, heated towel rail and Amtico flooring.

An additional Double bedroom and a Twin bedroom both with fitted wardrobes .

A family bathroom with heated towel rail and Amtico flooring.

Outside is a large decked seating area where you can enjoy Alfresco dining or simply sit back, relax and enjoy the view. There is also a BBQ for your use.
There is parking at the lodge for 2 medium sized cars.

The private lake is suitable for Fishing, Kayaking, Windsurfing or Sailing (using your own equipment).

There is a Bar and Restaurant onsite , along with a Gymnasium , Swimming pool and steam room . Exercise classes are also available (All payable locally).

1/3 of a mile away is Pine Lake where water sport enthusiasts can enjoy a day on the lake.

There are lovely walks in the local area and many country pubs to visit.


Coronavirus: We have added hand sanitizer machine as you enter the lodge , and antibacterial hand wash is available inside for guest use.
We clean the lodge ourselves to a high standard and are taking all precautions to ensure a safe stay.

Beautiful Lodge.
Well what can i say about this place, the location is a little hidden gem, beautiful views over looking the lake.The lodge itself is very clean,and well laid out, with all the home comforts.Ideally situated for the short runs to Morecombe, Kendal & Windermere and surrounding areas.Victoria the host was very helpful with all my questions regarding our stay. Short break
The lodge was a good size and had everything we needed. Unfortunately one of the double beds was broken so my daughter was unable to sleep that side and ended up in the living room on the first night. When we looked to see if we could repair or put something underneath we saw someone had tried to fix it. The bed was wonky which is unacceptable. The site itself has a bar and restaurant but this is only open till 6pm. You cannot get breakfast on a Monday or Tuesday so we couldn't book in for that.

Family Stay
Excellent lodge in a gorgeous location. Well kept and beautifully presented. Location is ideal for Morecambe Bay and The Lakes. The on site restaurant/bar serves excellent food and is pet-friendly. We did use the leisure centre once. It’s £20 for 2 people for the day so you might want to make a day of it.

fantastic
stayed 4 nights.Lovely, clean and spacious lodge. Would most definitely recommend. Beautiful views and pleasant staff on site. Four Kids aged between 2 and 16 did not want to leave. Will definitely be returning next year.

A little haven
We absolutely loved our stay in the lodge! The whole complex is so tranquil, small and friendly. We loved sitting on the balcony and watching the ducks and dogs go by. The lodge was larger than expected with lots of room for the kids to play, the kitchen was well equipped and the beds really comfortable. We found it a great location for exploring the south Lakes - Windermere about 45 min away and a beautiful drive. We enjoyed a swim at the complex too. We will be back!

Pleasant Post New Year Break
Comfortable stay for six people aged between 63 and 2 years old. Convenient for the motorway to visit the heart of the Lake District, with good on-site facilities. Will definitely return in the future.

Really enjoyed our stay, good facilities and great base to explore the local area. Only downside was excessive heat at night due to extremely good weather so we suggest having fans available for clients.

Had a lovely relaxing stay, site is very peaceful. It’s in a great location for exploring the Lake District. Would have used the facilities if we’d have been there a bit longer, although they do come at a cost. We did try to use the restaurant but wasn’t aware you had to book so was a bit disappointed, especially on a Thursday night. Also there is no shop on site however Aldi, Booths and Tesco are a few minutes drive away in Carnforth. All in all a lovely peaceful, relaxing break in a very nice, clean and spacious lodge that has everything you need for a few days away. Will definitely return in the future.

Family break and it was lovely . Cabin was so nice with all little extras like milk , biscuits , hand wash etc . Living area so comfy with recliners . Location perfect for the lakes and Morecambe visits. Pub / cafe on site not great although nice location . There is a great pub and farm with cafe couple mins drive away .

Lodge cosy and comfortable decorated for Xmas too.Beds very comfortable as were the sofas..Plenty of pans etc all you would need.Lovely gift of wine and biscuits plus milk tea and coffee.Lovely site shall be back.Would definitely recommend..

A cute little getaway
This lodge has absolutely everything you need, from essentials in the kitchen and a welcome pack, to even a baby travel cot. We enjoyed our stay and it was a great base for days out. Our only gripe is that the mattress in the en suite bedroom is extremely hard which may suit some, but not us. My partner went home sleep deprived with a bad back. The other beds, I'm told were fine. The site is lovely and peaceful and you feel part of a small community. It was great to be able to take my daughters dog away with us too. He thoroughly enjoyed the freedom of the veranda. If the hard mattress is ever changed I would definitely return.

Just a short two night trip for a family wedding. Can't comment too much on the site facilities but they look good. The accommodation was excellent and well appointed and comfortable. A real home from home. Great communication and a great deal when comparing to hotel cost. Highly recommended.

Very relaxing...
Lovely clean, comfortable and spacious lodge in a beautiful setting. Thoughtfulness of owner was above and beyond. Only criticism is that it wasn't clear when booking through vrbo, that use of the pool had to be paid for.
