"We loved our stay at the cabin! The Hucks hospitality made our stay exceptionally enjoyable! They gave excellent restaurant recommendations and we visited the lake bog they also recommend. We also enjoyed walking through the trails on the property. We were disappointed that oddly we seen no wildlife on the property not even a squirrel or rabbit. We loved our stay and appreciate how the Hucks made our stay so very much enjoyable. "

"Used this as base camp for bird hunting in the NMW for a week in October with my dad and his dog. Was a perfect spot to crash at the end of long day in the woods. Comfortable at night, even had the luxury of the TV to watch playoff baseball at night, and the sunrises were amazing every day. Eric was very welcoming of the dog and very quick to answer any questions. Would tell friend s a stay here again."

The place was very clean and it looked like some of the window screens had been recently replaced and new air conditioners were put in.(It was less than 70° while we were there so we didn’t need to use them though!) "This was our first time in Aroostook County and we weren’t sure what to expect and now we can’t wait to come back! This house was truly amazing! It had everything that we needed to make our week magical. It was perfect for our dogs and the lake was perfect. The water was great and we loved exploring the different parts of the lake on our paddle board. Cross ride to the Canada boarder, easy to cross into NB and get back. Overall, perfect place for a family vacation."

"Was stationed at the air force base 40 years ago. Never knew Echo Lake existed. Finding this cabin, on a lake, across from Aroostook State Park was amazing. Even the neighbor was so friendly. It was just the two of us this time. Would love to bring family back to this property as it could house all of us. Fall colors were just kicking in. No eagle sighting in the nest, maybe next time. Special place to stay and location was perfect to return to at the end of each days activities."

"The camp was quite dirty upon arrival owner left messages to use the right side French door due to them being very hard to open cobwebs all inside the camp bathroom toilet rocked when you sat on it and a clip was used to keep shower door closed ripped screens on some windows the boat dock was at least fifty yards out from the beach had to pull yourself or family out on flotation dock very ingenious however definitely a workout was not relayed that was how to use my boat upstairs was not little...
