Water Front Cottage near Waterton (30 min)

Lovely 2 bedroom cottage in Cardston County just 30 min from Waterton Park, Castle Mountain and the USA boarder and just 5 min away from Waterton Reservoir. Property includes use of Waterton park pass for duration of stay. Covered back deck features view of water and includes 6 ppl patio set and BBQ - work remotely while enjoying this beautiful view! Master bedroom has built in storage cabinetry and queen bed with second bedroom featuring built in bunk beds with single on top (max 100 lbs) and double bed on the bottom. Living rooms have 2 queen sized hide-a-bed for extra sleep capacity. Comes with one full sized bathroom with tub. Perfect for seniors or people with limited mobility as only 2 steps into cottage and 1 step inside. Cottage comes equipped with internet, 3 smart tv's, bedding/pillows, towels, dishwasher, fridge, gas range, conventional microwave, bar fridge, BBQ, Keurig coffee maker with pods, window AC unit in kitchen (summer season only), washer/dryer and electric fireplace in living room. Cottage also comes stocked with kitchen supplies such as pots, pans, dishes, toaster, cutlery, spices, coffee/tea, and condiments. Extra long driveway available to accommodate up to 3 vehicles. Fire pit with wood provided in back yard also available for use. Lake on property is available for non motorized vehicles only in the summer and skating and snowshoeing in the winter (swimming not recommend). 1 adult sized and1 kid size kayaks available for use (please bring own life jackets).

RV 50amp plug available along driveway for an additional charge.

Nearest major grocery and liquor store is approx 30 min away - recommend pre-purchasing items prior to arrival.

We have this on repeat
This is our second stay here and it was as good as our first. We will likely book here again. Stacey is an excellent host of her charming, well stocked, and CLEAN cabin! We just love the Waterton area- there are so many places to explore. We bring our bikes and our kayaks. Unfortunately we learned that Waterton National Park no longer enables watercraft from outside the Park but we ended up using our boats on the Waterton Reservoir nearby (less than 10 minutes from the cabin). While we were not surrounded by mountains like we would have been in the Park- this was still a beautiful spot to use our kayaks. We also took up Stacey's recommendation to make a reservation at the near by Twin Butte Country General Store and Mexican Restaurant. HA! That was a trip in itself if the name isn't already giving that away. Be sure to check it out. Thanks again Stacey- we will likely be booking again next year and look forward to more new things that we can explore while we enjoy your hospitality!

Stacey was absolutely amazing to deal with. The cottage was in prestine condition and the views were spectacular. Host replies promptly, would recommend staying here you wont be disappointed. Hope to stay here again!

Cardston cottage
Biggest difficulty is the location. Cottage park is in the middle of nowhere. Photos show pond and what look like walking areas. Pond is unuseable_leaches. Closest water and trails 10 minutes by car. Provicial parks nice but 45 min drive. National park okay but fires went through a few years ago, so most is still burnt. 35 minutes. Shopping 30 minutes. Also they expect ALOT of cleaning and there were ALoT of rles. Most sensible, but.... still. Should have better disclosure.

Relaxing Stay

We had a basic requirement when we alway look for a place to stay that is we need a kitchen and our golden boys should be allowed. It turned out to be excellent place for us . Full house seems like made for us. Nice cozy bedrooms ,.plenty of living space and a big kitchen . Wasn't able to use the lake or the BBQ as it was just two day trip but next time , i am going to book atleast for a week. Stacey was great , i spoke to her before going there and she explained everything as well her welcome notes says everything. Had a confusion when we are checking out but Stacey's prompt reply helped us . I will recommend this to anyone who is looking to spend sometime out . Its close to Watertown, pincher creek and fort McLeod. I took a lot of pictures so i can post here. As the pictures on Vrbo is not great . What its show on Vrbo is 10% of what it actually looks like . We will book again and our golden boys love this place.thank you

Quaint and peaceful cottage
This cottage is in a quiet little space around a small pond. The layout is a bit quirky, but it was comfortable and met all our needs. It is very well stocked with anything you could want. It was nice to have access to a washer and dryer and also internet. It was about a 40 minute drive to Waterton Lakes. Nice sunset/sunrise views.

Better Than Expected
We have stayed at a few VRBO's over the years and this was one of the best. Definitely worthy of top marks. The pictures do not do it justice so upon arrival is was a pleasant surprise. Stacey was always very responsive to our messages and the place was incredibly clean and well organized. The location is good for those trying to get away from things while close enough to what you need- although, if you are spending a few days and plan on doing a bit of driving, be sure to fill up in Pincher Creek or Fort MacLeod on your way there as there are NO gas stations outside of 1 in the Waterton Lake Townsite from what I could tell. Waterton Lake is definitely a real gem with plenty of mother nature to take in- it is just beautiful. The pond this residence backs onto certainly works for a leisurely canoe or kayak if there is no wind. When things are calm it makes for a very peaceful for an evening sunset kayak- launching right from the backyard. We'll be booking this place again for sure.

Nice cottage with easy access to Waterton
We had a lovely time at this cottage. Waterton Lakes is about 30-50 mins away, depending on which trailhead you're heading to. We did a combination of remote work and hiking at Waterton during our stay, which worked out very well. The owner is very easy to reach with any questions. Internet is fast enough and reliable for videoconferencing, we had no issues. Cottage comes equipped with full kitchen. We'll be happy to return when we visit Waterton again.

This cottage was a wonderful escape from the city!! It was so relaxing to start our day and end our day out on the covered deck watching the duck and geese swim on the pond. Everything was provided such as foil, plastic wrap, soap, Kleenex etc. Staying at the cottage was the best 5 nights of sleep we have had in a long time! Highly recommend! Though Waterton Park is a 1/2 hour drive it is well worth it just for the peace and quiet. On your way to Waterton do not miss the Mexican restaurant in Twin Butte -great food! We look forward to returning next spring!

Spring in the Prairies
We took a gamble at booking a little getaway for the middle of April in the Prairies. We had one great sunshiny day and saw the beautiful sights in Waterton National Park-thank you Stacey. The rest of the days were pleasantly spent at our cozy and warm cabin. Stacey's place is perfectly set-up for whatever the weather threw at us! She was quick to respond to our queries and I would recommend staying at Stacey's lovely property.

Great escape
The cabin was beautiful. The owner provided many luxuries I have not encountered at other locations, like spices, condiments, coffee. It is out of the way a bit so great for sitting back and relaxing. The owner was excellent with quick response to any questions we had.

Terrific Rental! Had everything we needed. Lots of space for our family of four. Well kept property with pride of ownership shown from other properties in the area. Only 30 minutes to Waterton and many sightseeing adventures close by like Frank Slide and Lundbreck Falls

Quiet getaway
Very quiet location and a friendly neighborhood. We enjoyed watching a variety of water fowl on the pond during quiet mornings. We really enjoyed all that was provided, it was also a great home base for site seeing! Thank you!

Amazing
Fantastic vacation! This property had everything needed all we had to bring was clothes and food. The view was beautiful and everyone enjoyed watching the water fowl on the pond. The property manager responded quickly and was very helpful. I will definitely tell all my people about this location.
