The Cardiff Surfer's Hideaway is a charming, air-conditioned 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom ocean front home. It is the perfect choice for guests who wish to live among the Cardiff ocean views, from the comfort of the living space! This vacation rental is also steps away from the new seaside trail that spans the coastline, uninterrupted from Encinitas to Cardiff.
From watching the sunset, to enjoying your morning coffee, the private front deck of the home is where you want to be. Please note: you must climb a full set of stairs to get up to the home/deck. As you enter, you are welcomed by the sunlit social space with all home amenities. While relaxing on the comfy, oversized couch watching the big flat-screen Smart TV, you can also enjoy the mesmerizing skyline that is captured directly outside the living room's large floor-to-ceiling windows.

-Max occupancy at all times: 4
-Quiet Hours: 9pm - 9am
-NO PARTIES, GATHERINGS, NO EXTRA GUESTS THAT OVER OCCUPY THE HOME, OR EVENTS ALLOWED - Strictly enforced.
-This home IS NOT PET FRIENDLY.
-There shall be no video, still photography, or film production of any kind without the express written consent of the owner.
PLEASE NOTE!
-Please take note that this home is NOT baby and/or child proofed. It is your responsibility to walk the home and/or property upon arrival, to make this space safe for your children. We assume no liability for harm/death to any baby or child staying or visiting this vacation rental.
-There is exterior surveillance camera recording 24/7. The camera is located on the driveway
-Please note: All entrances to the home do have multiple stairs and the stairs to the deck poses a fall risk for young children.
-Also, San Elijo Rd. is directly in front of the property so you will hear some traffic sounds during your stay.
-Please note that early check-ins and late check-outs are available at our discretion. There are extra fees for either of these add-ons when available.
-The Train runs all day long in front of the home.
-There is no BBQ grill.
CANCELLATION POLICY
• A thirty (30) day notice is required for cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than thirty (30) days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty, aside from a $500 restocking fee.
• Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 30 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment (not including deposit and cleaning fee).
• Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent. If you wish to shorten your existing reservation with VRBKIM, and your reservation is further than 30 days away, we do charge a $100 restocking fee to make this adjustment.
Parties and Overoccupancy Policy:
If the guest violates any of our rules regarding noise, parties, or overoccupancy, and the host receives complaints from neighbors, a $500 fine will be imposed per occurrence. In addition, should these allegations be found true, the guest will be subject to immediate eviction without a refund.
