"We recently stayed at a charming rental house in Double Springs, Alabama, for four nights. Nestled in a rural and secluded area, the house offered the perfect escape into nature, with excellent hiking trails and stunning natural surroundings just a short distance away. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how cute the house was. It matched the description in the listing perfectly and was clean and well-maintained. The amenities were just as advertised, and we especially appreciated...

"We stayed here with our wedding party for the weekend while getting married in double springs and loved it. Was very relaxing and had a beautiful view. Made a lot of great memories and highly recommend. Had no issues but great contact with host if any arose. They were be try friendly and helpful. "

"We had extended family in town for a wedding, including some very older adults. This home was accessible, with one floor living. The home is beautiful and well-appointed. The views and grounds are amazing! Our family group had a wonderful stay. Owners are responsive and easy to work with. If you book this home, you will be glad you did!"

"Great cabin, very relaxing! "

"Very nice house and beautiful location. Loved the dock and spent a lot of time there enjoying the great weather. Dock was perfect size for securing and storing my boat. Owner should fix hand rail on deck as it was very wobbly. In addition the bbq grill was covered in grease and caught our burgers on fire the first night. Had to breakdown the grill and clean to use the second night. "

"No complaints! Nice clean, quiet little place to just get away from reality for a couple of days. We made new friends, about 6 deer visited us a few times throughout the day. Very nice! "

"My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Coffee on the porch to start our days, and then relaxing by the firepit to cap it off. My kids loved playing on the dock and rocks along the shore. They could have spent a whole week down there. My one criticism is the lighting in the living room / kitchen is lacking. It seemed dark in there, even in the middle of the day with all the windows. Other than that, it was great!"

"The cabin is very cute. Someone with children this is great! It is not secluded. It has a neighbor within 20 feet of you and the porches are facing each other. If you like privacy, it’s not the place. The place is just cute with plenty to do. But the house next door that close is a deal breaker for privacy."

"This home was perfect for our family vacation. The house is so beautiful and modern offering everything we needed and more. The view of the lake is breathtaking. We enjoyed every moment here. The kitchen is well stocked for a big family. The mattresses are very comfortable. These hosts are super hosts. Communication was immediate and they responded promptly to all the needs we had. Will definitely stay here again."

"This lake is one of the most beautiful lakes I have ever seen. The house is very spacious for many people to enjoy. The stairs going down to the pier were not as steep in person as I thought they would be by looking at the pics. The host was awesome to work with. I highly recommend this house for your next big family gathering."

"Our entire family (ages 1-63) loved this place! Great layout with big family areas and quiet areas for solitude. The outdoor areas were fantastic, with a grassy lawn, lots of trees, shallow areas for the younger kids to play in, a great dock for fishing and for the pontoon boat we remted, and multiple decks for viewing all of it! Duncan Bridge Marina was less than 10 minutes away. "

"The pictures really don't do this place justice. The views are breathtaking! The cabin is cute and quaint. The furniture was very comfy and we loved the porch area too. The bed was very firm but we managed. This place really is well stocked and had pretty much everything. We came in for the AAYS World Series for girls softball. It was worth every bit of the drive into Gardendale to play ball. Didn't hurt that our team brought home the Championship for 18u division. If we are in the area again,...

"Much better than I expected for the price. What more could you ask for, than a clean, comfortable, (great pillows) safe place to stay at a reasonable price. How about a microwave, refrigerator and coffee pot in the room plus free breakfast with hot waffles. Better than some motels I've stayed in at twice the price."
