Gulf-front villa and guest house with pristine white sand beach, private heated pool, and glorious sunset views over the ocean and beach that are unparalleled on the island. Filled with amenities to make your vacation a breeze! Arcadia is an ideal villa and location for large families, friends or couples looking to share an activity-filled yet serene beach vacation. Your group can spread out in two comfortable and professionally decorated homes. The heated pool and tropical garden, filled with hibiscus, grasses and palms, connects the two. The main house contains a newly renovated, full kitchen complete with Sub-Zero fridge, Bosch induction range and dishwasher, and quartzite countertops, which overlooks an open plan living-dining area filled with comfy sofas and chairs, complete with games, puzzles and books for all ages. Beyond that is an expansive deck overlooking the Gulf of Mexico, the uncrowded white sand beach, and dune plantings — just made for lounging, entertaining, and admiring the vibrant sunsets! The master bedroom features a king-sized bed, flat-screen TV, ample storage, and a private porch overlooking the beach and pines. The attached master bath is tiled in marble and features a double sink and walk-in shower. You’ll also find two comfortable guest bedrooms, each containing two twin beds, plenty of storage, and its own marble-tiled bath with walk-in shower. There is a pull-out sofa in the sun room (sleeps 8). The guest house contains one bedroom (king-sized bed) and one bath and walk-in shower, complete with a newly renovated, full kitchen with Sub-Zero fridge, Bosch induction range and dishwasher, and quartzite countertops, which overlooks an open plan living-dining area and a screened porch. There is a pull-out sofa in the living area (sleeps 4). Washer and dryer in both houses. Each home features tasteful and comfortable beach chic décor, flat screen TVs, and picture windows overlooking the Gulf and sandy paths to the beach. Enjoy the shorebirds, dolphins, bald eagles, and world renowned sunsets all from the comfort of your deck, and Outdoors, lounge on chaises or sofas on the deck, porches or around the pool. Market umbrellas are set up by the pool to provide shade on the hottest days. Come evening, you’ll find a large grill for barbecuing (propane and grill tools provided). Head to the beach for shelling, fishing and swimming in the gentle Gulf surf. Beach chairs, beach umbrellas, sand toys and pool toys are provided for fun in the sun. Arcadia provides a warm and comfortable retreat for guests of all ages, filled with amenities to make living easy in this paradise of sun and sea. We look forward to welcoming you!

This home with the guest house was just what we needed. The beach and shelling outstanding. Great Pool. You just need lots of bug spray for the Noseeums.

Fun in the sun family reunion
The property is like a mini 5 star resort. The only thing missing is the spritzer person at the pool. We will be back! High end appliance in the large house were nice and seemed new. The smaller house may need a fridge upgrade at some point. Love the view and beach equipment.

Great space for family
Arcadia was a fantastic property in a great location. View and beach were ideal, ample beach toys, chairs etc. Pool was great to have and the second building was perfect for us to work separately during the day when we had to, but would also be great for a second family to have their own space. Overall the property was clean, but it’s a little dated, which is fine. Filter faucet was broken in the guest house kitchen and was never fixed, and the ants in the main house kitchen were annoying at the start of our trip. Management could put some bait/traps in to help that, and fix the broken fixture, but otherwise we had a great stay.

Overall the home and location is great! Our only complaint is the cook top and ice production. The cook top is tough to work with especially when your used to other cooking appliances. These are the only issues on the house.

Great week
We throughly enjoyed our week celebrating my parent’s 50th wedding anniversary. Beautiful house and location. Really appreciated the beach gear provided since we flew in. The guest house bed was the major disappointment and needs to be replaced. We would definitely consider a return stay. Thank you for sharing your beautiful oasis.

Beautiful and Perfect!
Loved this home in Captiva! It is right over the bridge from Sanibel and we loved the location. We rented a golf cart for rides into Captiva town. The home could not have been more perfect for our family of 8 adults and 2 kids under 4. Both houses are lovely with beautiful furniture and accessories. The porch is the highlight ! We sat outside many nights and mornings. Noseeums (bugs) were around and bothersome but maybe a few citronella candles would be helpful. Kitchen was very well stocked other than coffee mugs - we had to borrow from the guest cottage. It would be nice if management company left spices that renters buy so that the next have spices, olive oil etc so you don’t have to start from scratch. The pool is perfect and there are lots of chairs and toys for the beach. Fantastic place….would stay there again and again!

Beautiful property. Great hangout space inside and out. Pool was wonderful and maintainence was great at keeping pool clean after winds and storms. Beach is gorgeous, quiet and private. Bedroom separation worked well for our family. Kitchens and baths are lovely. Appreciated generous number of towels and beach towels. Loved ceiling fans everywhere kept us cool if you aren’t an ac lover. Two outdoor showers were the best! Lots of sand toys and chairs for beach. No sidewalks so know that before you go. Kitchen needs a few small additions- blender that works, salad spinner, large colander but generally well equipped.

This rental is by far the best place we’ve ever stayed !! I’ve been coming to Captiva every year for 45 years and This home knocked it out of the park on every level!! The views, the beach, tbe pool, the newly renovated interior,the location!!!!You name it, it’s perfect!!!

Perfect family gathering spot!
Such a lovely home tucked into a private natural blanket of sea grapes! Very well equipped with beach gear and toys to keep adults and kiddos happy. Glorious skies every morning and night. A plethora of sitting areas for game playing, puzzles, movie nights (all three of which can occur at the same time). Beautiful private pool with lovely furniture and surrounding vegetation including lime/key lime trees! Easy access/departure making it a seamless trip all around. Highly recommend!

Make up for a lost year (2020)
Wanted something special after covid 2020, this did not disappoint. Sunsets were spectacular on the deck or if we preferred on the beach. Wife and daughter fell in love with the decor of the house while our 10 year old grandson LOVED the pool. Hated to leave! Will return!

Well Equipped, Beautiful Home
We just got back from a week's stay at this property. We rent from VRBO every year, and I have to say this was the best equipped house we have ever rented. From the well stocked kitchens, to the beach and pool equipment, we were lacking nothing. Having two houses was very nice. We used the smaller house for my husband and I, while the teens loved having all the space in the main house. The location was perfect! Wonderful views and easy access to the uncrowded beach. Having a beach wagon to take the provided beach chairs and umbrellas was very nice. We have stayed farther in on Captiva in the past and were a little bit worried about being so close to Blind Pass, but it was no issue at all. The property is well secluded with beautiful plants, trees, and flowers. Fishing off the beach is awesome with daily dolphin sightings. The pool was very clean and warm. We enjoyed the screened in porch on the guest house as it was hard to use the very expansive deck on the main house due to the no see ums. Maybe they are not as bad in the spring, fall and winter, but in the summer it's hard to sit outside and enjoy the view in the evenings due to the pesky bugs. The only drawback was the guest house does sway a bit when someone is walking around in the house or up the deck stairs. You can feel it when you are sitting in the house. It left my husband and I feeling like we were on a boat for a week....still feeling that sway a couple of days after. All in all, the property was great!

Beautiful property!
Arcadia was amazing. It was perfect for our family. It was comfortable, clean, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. We loved that there was a separate guest house so that our families could enjoy some down time in the evenings. We spent more time at the pool this year than our previous years at Captiva because the pool is awesome with such a clean, inviting atmosphere. The beach was a bit more crowded than we were used to in our previous stays but it wasn't a problem. Arcadia is the perfect get-away - we booked again next year! Only one note - if you are a bedtime tv watcher, bring some televisions or laptaps; most of the bedrooms do not have one. Other than that minor issue, Arcadia was amazing!

The setting is so beautiful, we had a lovely time. I agree with a lot of other reviews. The only issues we had included plumbing (was fixed promptly) and a few broken items (towel rack, beach chair) also taken care of quickly. The kids loved the pool, and the sunsets were stunning.

Overall great stay, incredible views
We had a great two weeks at this property. The living space is nice and open, great for groups with well maintained furniture. The kitchen area overall is smaller than expected but as we were just a small family, that was not a problem. The pool was a highlight because it was shaded in the afternoon but well heated so the kids could swim in any weather. Our only minor critiques would be the master bed was really not comfortable and the mattress and box springs felt worn out or much too soft. The bed in the guest house was not connected to the frame and the furniture and blinds in that room were generally much more worn out/broken. Lastly, it's exactly as listed but we wished we had a screened porch - we were eaten alive until we got deet. Due to being on septic and Florida water, the water pressure is weak and smells. To be expected in general but at this price we probably weren't quite prepared for it. Overall, the home is a bit more 'loved' and 'lived in' than we might have expected but we were happy with the cleanliness and the main living spaces. It was wonderful to have basically a private beach and a perfect layout and guesthouse for the grandparents.

Loved our week on Captiva!
Great location, property and view! Loved having both the pool and the beach each day. The houses had everything we needed for an awesome and relaxing week and gave us lots of space for our entire party. The deck and view was phenomenal.....for coffee or happy hour! Will definitely be back!!!

Great stay....again
This was our 2nd time renting this property. It's perfect for my family. Equal times spent at the beach and pool. The deck is PERFECT for sunsets! Nice kitchen which is important to us as we eat 75% of our meals on the deck or by the pool.

The property was exactly as seen in the photos. Sunsets were even better, breathtaking. A new grill was delivered during our stay and was used and appreciated. We had groceries delivered from Baileys. We also got local carry out and bought fresh fish at the Tuesday farmers market. Highlight for my 3 yr ok’d granddaughter was floating on the paddle board one morning when the waves were flat as dolphins played all around us. Priceless.

Luxury beach vacation with a homey vibe!
This was the best experience for our family beach vacation. Beautiful property with every amenity that we could ask for. Very very comfortable bedS and bedding, beautiful furniture inside and out. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed to fix gourmet meals and the feeling in this home is like I said luxury and homey all in one place. The deck and outdoor space is like being in a small resort and the path to the beach is something spectacular as well. All landscaping is well maintained and the pool area was so nicely taken care of. We rented a six person street ready golf cart and toured the island and drove to Captiva for dinner or ice cream. . Many evenings we caught our own dinner and then sat on the deck and watched the sun go down. I just can’t explain what a wonderful time we had. Hoping to be back soon!!! Thanks again for allowing us to share your home.
