Lazy Palm is back and beautiful. We all went through a lot after hurricane Ian but Lazy Palm is better than ever. You will definately be in a totally, like new home. I was in Lazy Palm 3 days after the hurricane, traveling back and forth by boat just to start doing everything I could to keep the property safe. It was quite an experience.
Lazy Palm has been brought back to its original beauty, with some things even better, and the home still offers all of the great features that it always had. The golf cart has been totally refurbished and the bicycles are new along with most everything else. New carpet, newly painted, a lot of new furniture, and decor will make you feel like you are in a new property.

With nearly 5,000 square feet of living space, this newly renovated, inside and out, (after the hurricane) luxury home has plenty of 'Island Living' space for everyone.

The large wrap around decks and the 4th level 'Crows Nest', with a 360* view of the island ,are a favorite for guests and are just some of the bonuses this fabulous home has to offer. Bayfront views of the intercoastal waterway are endless! Rise early for breathtaking sunrises or relax and watch the boats and dolfphins cruise by!

The 4+ bedrooms are spacious, comfy ,and all feature custom heavenly beds. All bedrooms have LCD TV's with cable, private bathrooms and access to the outside decks with awesome views.

A beautiful open floor plan makes a great space with the living room, dining area and a large beautiful modern kitchen with a wrap around breakfast bar for entertainment.

Open the doors to the lanai and dine or relax overlooking the large patio area with a heated pool and spa. All screen enclosed for beautiful year-round enjoyment. Sun, swim, dine or relax in this great space.

The large recreation room off of the pool area features a LCD TV with cable, a 12 foot shuffleboard table, a foosball table, a bar area with seating, a queen sleeper sofa, and a large full bath. An elevator services all floors for your convenience.

Beautifully landscaped and decorated with a lot of love by the owner, Lazy Palm is perfectly located in the 'Village Area'. You are truly a block from everything. The beach, shopping, dining, waters ports, a gym and more, but on a quiet little street with views of the bay and only a 5-6 minute walk to the beach!

We really enjoyed our week. The golf cart was awesome. We did have a problem with the A/C upstairs but the rental company sent someone out late at night and he fixed it right away. The pool and hot tub were great and also having the elevator was a wonderful help a well. Great location to everything.

We've stayed at the Lazy Palm many times, and we're looking forward to our next visit. We've seen other homes in the area, and the LP is our favorite. The natural light, the pool/lanai, the elevator, the golf cart and such a great location in the village. LP is a great place to relax with family and friends!

Another Great Stay
Another wonderful experience at the Lazy Palm, our 2nd stay! The property is well kept, clean and full of amenities. Particularly like the outdoor dining and pool for the kids. The owner is a pleasure to work with, accessible and very responsive. Minor issue that we had was addressed immediately. Look forward to returning again!!!

Fantastic Week at Lazy Palm
We had a wonderful vacation at Lazy Palm for our spring break. The house was perfect and fit our two families of 5. We enjoyed the easy walk to beach, shops, and restaurants. We also loved the pool, ping pong and access to the golf cart. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed using the grill. Kathy was so attentive to any needs that arose and was a responsive host. We hope to come back to Captiva and the Lazy Palm!

Perfect spring break!
We rented the house for a spring break adventure with another family. The house is beautiful and the location is perfection. We loved the screened in pool and the open floor plan. The host could not have been any more friendly and accommodating. We contacted the rental company for help with a couple of things, and they were so courteous and responsive. The golf cart was so fun and such a great bonus. We love Captiva and will be back!!

Perfect for family and friends
This house was perfect for our two families of 4. The location was great and on a quiet street with easy access to the beach, grocery store and restaurants. Upon arrival the house was very clean and inviting and has all the amenities we needed for our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Lazy Palm
Lazy Palm is a beautiful house in a great location. Everything was a short walk away; beach, restaurants, stores. We had 7 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone. The bedrooms each have their own bathroom, which was a plus. The living area is open and a great gathering spot. Kathy is a very responsive host.

Family trip for New Year’s
Our family stayed a week to bring in the new year together. The house was great- easily accommodating our group of 7 adults. We walked to dinner every night that we ate out- and walked to the grocery (which was surprisingly well stocked- even had a liquor store) for our nights in. We walked and/or biked to the beach as well. Everything was super convenient! We especially loved visiting the Darling Wildlife National Refuge. Great area with something for everyone- shelling, bike paths galore, birding, boating, jet skis, etc. Well stocked house with bikes, golf cart, towels, cooking necessities, etc. Perfect spot to welcome the new year!

Lazy Palm is Paradise!!
This beautiful home is located on Captiva Island just a brief walk to beachside, bayside along with shops and restaurants. This 4 bedroom, 6 bath home has all the bells and whistles. Recently updated exterior & interior is luxurious yet very homey. The elevator takes you to each of the 3 floors, two patios overlook the beautiful pool & spa and up top a crows nest allows you to see spectacular sunrises and sunsets. The first floor has a living room with sleeper sofa, bar, large screen TV & a foosball table just steps away from the pool. It’s easy to get around the island with either the 6 seat golf cart or the many bikes. Don’t miss out on this lovely home away from home. I can’t wait til my next vacation at the Lazy Palm!!

Perfect paradise!
We absolutely loved our stay at Lazy Palm. We were a little worried about the island since the hurricane, but the house was absolutely beautiful! Everything seems brand new and clean. The furniture and beds are very comfy. The pool and jacuzzi were perfect for relaxing in the evening The golf cart and bicycles were our favorite part. We were able to explore the island like locals! The island seems to be coming alive again! We had a wonderful time and will be recommending Lazy Palm to all our family and friends.

Fantastic Getaway!
Lazy Palm was perfect for our visit. Beautiful and roomy and seemed very new. Having a golf cart and bicycles included and waiting for us was so convenient. The location is perfect. The private pool was relaxing, and the view of the bay from the upper decks was beautiful. The Host was very responsive and answered our questions promptly and with care. Highly recommend this roomy, beautifully decorated and well-maintained, clean house for a wonderful time on Captiva.

Can't wait to go back!
My family has been staying on Captiva Island for over 10 years, and Lazy Palm is simply the best. Huge cozy bedrooms with a private bathroom in each, a beautiful elevator, a pool & hot tub from heaven, and the house is fully stocked with everything you'll need. Kathy, the host, is very accessible and made sure to go above and beyond for everything. The location is quiet and super close to everything, and the 6 seater golf cart was awesome to have. For anyone coming with small kids, the house includes a high chair and 2 gates! My family made the best memories at Lazy Palm & we will be re-booking soon! :)

Family vacation!
This was a great time for our family with kids age 6-11. We also had our other family members staying at a house down the street in the area. This house had all the amenities we needed; like go to the beach ride a bike and get around the area on the golf cart. The house also was equipped with the elevator which was extremely helpful for myself and father on the trip who has a physical limitation getting up to the 3rd floor. Thank You for such a great time with our family!

Met Every Expectation!!!

Perfect for our family vacation
The Lazy Palm is a wonderful, spacious, and well-appointed home in the heart of Captiva. My brother’s family of four plus my family of four couldn’t have been happier with our stay. Our children enjoyed the ping-pong table and pool every day. We loved watching the sunrise from the widow’s walk and taking the short walk to the beach for sunset. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything needed for cooking and the garage is full of beach gear. We were to supposed to take this trip to Captiva two years ago (we had a different rental home at the time) and had to cancel due to COVID….the wait was worth it!!

Great Week at the Lazy Palm
A wonderful week for our extended family in a beautiful, well equipped home. The Lazy Palm has a great pool that our grandchildren enjoyed. We enjoyed eating our meals outside on the veranda. Bedrooms were great with attached bathrooms. The owner, Kathy was very responsive to our questions and very prompt to respond. Kathy was a pleasure to deal with. We rented her golf cart which was so convenient and fun to drive around Captiva. Had a great week and would highly recommend staying at the Lazy Palm.

Fun spring break
We enjoyed this home and area for spring break with with our friends, total of 10 including kids ages 11-18. The golf cart was perfect for getting around. Also able to walk to beach. Our favorite restaurant was Key Lime Bistro. House was spacious. Kids loved the ice cream shop at The Bubble Shop. We played Top Golf in Ft Myers one day. Recommend stopping at Publix on way in or can do Instacart delivery. Market had items we needed during week. We got some goodies at the farmers market on Tuesday. Overall great location and nice family beach town.

Terrific house on Captiva!
Kathy’s house is wonderfully comfortable and well equipped. The golf cart is a important addition to scoutingu the island and getting to restaurants and the beach. Comfy bedrooms are well situated for privacy. The pool area is a blast for our grandchildren, plus the beach is a short walk away. Be sure and use the elevator for unpacking heavy suitcases. Great Stay!
After having to postpone our trip due to Covid, our family finally got to stay at Lazy Palms. The house was perfect for two families and a family member with mobility issues. We hope to come back again soon.
