"I gave the resort five stars, but I would give the weather one star. The room was very nice. Nice bed and pillows. We had a nice water view. The staff was great. Very helpful and accommodating. They apologized repeatedly for the large party of government officials that were there for their Christmas party and were loud later onto the night, but they really weren’t an issue. "This is a no frills resort. If you're looking to get of the beaten pay this the place . We loved it walking distance on the beach to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island , not white beach, much nicer. Restaurant has a limited selection but some tasty local foods . We rented a motorcycle for 4days best thing ever as we saw the island at our own pace. Support staff fantastic and liokes after us . Very rustic rooms gret experience."

"This resort was very very unique. Interesting architecture and stonework. Nice little bay. The staff was top notch. Bent over backwards to help us. The weather wasn’t great so we didn’t get to snorkel the bay until the last day and the water was cloudy and full of floating debris from all the wind and rain blowing into the bay. "There are so many great things about AV Suites. The staff was great! Well trained but not robots. Very friendly and personable. They made us feel very welcome and really seem to take pride in the resort. First the views are incredible and stunning. Standing on the balcony of our room was amazing. We stayed for 9 days and the room was big enough for us. We didnt feel cramped up on the 1 day it rained. There are a few things I wish that I had known before we stayed there. "Fantastisk beliggenhed når dykning er primære formål. Har egen bådebro og velfungerende dykkerventer med hjælpsomt personale. Personale og ledelse på hotel og i restaurant er fantastisk søde og hjælpsomme. Maden er god, veltilberedt, hygiejnisk og i rigelige mængder. En del af hotellets bygninger trænger kraftigt til en renovering. Mange trapper og niveauforskelle, derfor ikke egnet for gangbesværede."

"From pool time to beach dining, there are some great places to rest or enjoy water sports. Staff are attentive and the resort is on a quiet beach. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff are friendly and also respond to Messenger or text, which is convenient for ordering lunch or asking about snorkeling. White Beach is 2 minutes away for shopping or the boardwalk. The junior suite has a nice bathbtub, fridge and balcony. Family rooms are right on the beach level. Nice!"

"Good location, just a few steps from the ocean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cafe Marco was a step above most of the food establishments, as was the Dawei Tea House, both linked to the hotel. Rooms were clean and modern. Only negative was that the advertised free parking was not free if you book through an on-line service, like Orbitz. We had a power failure the first night and it knocked out WiFi for the remainder of our stay. Same for Cafe Marco and Dawei Tea House. But that was beyond...

"The Villa is a beautiful property with breath taking views, The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. A wonderful surprise was that they sent a car to pick us up at the port and to drop us off for free. Smart Tv in the huge villa room a clean swimming pool and a private beach with a coral reef the hotels provided free snorkeling gear .. Highly recommended slice of paradise. "
