Excellent location for 20 minute walk to historic district of Cape Town. There were electricity shortages in the city during my stay, such that power was cut off one evening and in the middle of the night on another occasion which tended to play a bit of havoc in terms of battery recharging and AC but unless one would expect a B& B to have its own independent generator, (which I did not), then that’s beyond the control of the the hotelier.
The property, in an upscale, gated community, has an eclectic clientele ranging from backpackers to business travellers, all of whom seem to abide by the quiet, informal rules and each suite has its own bathroom and informal sitting area.
