"This is a great property, and I would have given it 5 stars is the valet situation wasn’t as absurd as it was. The entire front parking lot is reserved for valet only leaving only a few parking spots on the side of the hotel and street parking. During our stay, only 2 or 3 people utilized valet for their stay. Perhaps it was busier when the restaurant was open. Hotel patrons should not have to park down the street. Compass is nice, but it’s not the Ritz - it’s more like an upscale Holiday...

"The room was clean and onsite parking was available. The elevator was very helpful ... and the view of the lake from the elevator as it goes up/down was delightful! The views from the rooms are excellent (though rooms with 01 in the number have limited views) and the location of the inn is very convenient. "Great location, ocean was in plain view. Great balcony view. You can hear the ocean outside your room. Very beautiful outlook. Room was fairly clean. Wi-Fi worked pretty well. Staff was nice, they just seemed a little overworked. Overall, great experience and would go back."

"the heater was very loud and made it difficult to sleep as it was in a closet in the bedroom area. The door to the shower would not close and flooded the bathroom. The tv in the bedroom had no sound and the ice maker did not work. I reported all this to the front desk clerk . She was very nice , wrote it all down and pretty much explained they were aware of these issues. No compensation was offered."

"Disappointed the beach bar was not open yet and there were no lounge chairs avaliable yet for the beach. We enjoyed the inside bar in the evening. The staff were all very nice. The hotel was overall nice and clean. "
