What else can we say about Lakeside Haven but "wow!"? This waterfront property is 1,800 square feet of heaven and hosts up to 10 guests with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths.

The main level of this Canyon Lake stunner features an open-concept layout that includes the living, dining, and kitchen areas. The comfortable living room includes a plush couch, fireplace, and an HDTV. Multiple chefs in your group won't be a problem as the kitchen is spacious and features everything you need for a great home-cooked meal. The dining area is just off the kitchen and includes a table for 6, with additional seating at the kitchen island. Off the main living and dining area is where you'll find the half bathroom.

The master bedroom features a comfy queen-size bed, gorgeous natural lighting, and a TV as well as an attached master bathroom with a large soaking tub and a walk-in shower. The second bedroom includes a queen-size bed, wall-mounted HDTV, and a beautiful view of the deck. The main level also includes the second full bathroom with a shower/tub combo. Need space for the kids? The third bedroom includes 2 full-size bunk beds. The home also features plenty of closet space to help you safely store your belongings. There's also a washer and dryer available for guest use.

The backyard space is to die for. Gorgeous scenery, plenty of shade, ample seating, and a hot tub will keep you entertained. The upper-level deck includes seating and a gas grill as well. The large back lawn space is ideal for letting the kids (or kids at heart) run and play, and you can also walk down to Canyon Lake from the backyard.

With all there is to see, do, and experience around the home, don't forget that Lakeside Haven is conveniently located and only a short drive from Canyon Lake Marina, several area restaurants, the Guadalupe River, Whitewater Amphitheater, Schlitterbahn, Gruene Hall and Historic District, and much more!

Catfish Property
We booked this lake house specifically for the lake front access in the back yard. We have a 10-month-old and 3 older boys that love to fish. This is why we booked this house specifically so the older boys could go and fish while we were able to relax at the house with the baby. Upon arrival the AC was on 78. First time I have stayed at a VRBO and its that hot when you arrive. Next the hot tub doesn't work and its filthy dirty with slime on the walls of the hot tub. The children's bunk beds are damaged and unsafe to use as the bed is falling apart. There is no lakefront access. The lake is dried up and is about a 1.5 mile walk from behind the house. The TV didn't work properly. The entire house was filthy and looks like it hadn't been cleaned in months. Spider webs all over the place. I started calling the property management people the day I checked in, which was a Friday, to let them know about all of these items. No one came out until Sunday afternoon. We left on Monday morning. They never cleaned the hot tub. They drilled the railing of the bunk beds and taped it back together. They never cleaned the place, so it was still dirty. This is literally a catfish property. What you see in the photos of the hot tub, the lakefront view is all lies. None of that is there. This is listed on VRBO, but it actually goes through Vacay Hill Country another rental site. So ca VRBO and let them know. They only offered me a 50-dollar credit for the issues. Stay at your own risk,

Nice get away!
The property it self was nice! Great view, easy location and the house was nice. The only complaint I have is it was dirty. The floors were really dirty and the blankets they provided were dirty. I don’t blame the owners but the rental company that provides the cleaning. This place could have been perfect if someone walked through prior to our arrival to inspect the cleaning or lack there of. But again… the house was cute and a great layout, the patio was big and spacious (I recommend an outdoor light) but it just wasn’t clean.

Spring Break Relaxation
Our group of med students really enjoyed this time to get away from studies and relax. The hot tub was nice although it did take overnight to reach temperature. Lovely outdoor space to hang out and socialize and we really enjoyed using the fire pit and grill as well.

Overall it was good. The unit was hot (75) when we arrived and got up to 80 within the first 2 hours, and took the rest of the evening and next morning to cool down. Someone had to come check the AC. It could use a fan in the downstairs bedroom with bunks. Downstairs AC doesn’t allow it to cool any cooler than 70. That being said we had a wonderful time.

Great location and view but decks need more love
We thought the house had a great location, view of the lake and layout. We enjoyed it very much. However, even though the outside decks were a huge selling point for us, when we got there they were really dirty. I had to grab the broom and clean it myself. At night, we loved to grill outside but it is extremely dark with no visibility. We had to use our personal flashlights whilst grilling or to assure no one fell down when coming down the stairs. If the lighting woukd have been there, we would have given this house 5 stars. We found underneath one of the benches on the deck, a huge beehive. We were extremely nervous for our kids so we asked them to stay inside as much as possible. Again this should have been looked at before. The inside of the house had everything we needed, it was very comfortable and spacious. Again, for us, we woukd have really lived it if the outdoor decks would have more lighting and cleanliness since we rented this house exactly to enjoy the view of the lake and the outdoors.

Poor professionalis
Review: First night there my 1yo son almost got locked in the house due to the main door to patio not working! Good thing my 17yo happened to be inside and was able to use another door! But y’all know this already because y’all told me it wasn’t important! Let’s see the piss poor water pressure the first two night, before finally not working at all, and when we called to report we were told to check the breaker box! THE BREAKER BOX FOR A WATER ISSUE? Oh let’s not forget the lying “Karen” neighbor and the associate there that called me “ridiculous” for this alone I will never use a Skyrun property again! After issues we had with house and other stuff for the staff member to call me ridiculous, that’s where I draw the line! Had it just been me and kids I would have left right then!

Really enjoyed our stay!
Our two families with kids (9 total) had a wonderful stay. The place was large enough for everyone, kitchen had all the essentials and the view from the deck was beautiful, we even enjoyed an evening around the fire pit. It’s just a short walk down to the water, but not a good spot for swimming. The only downside was that we couldn’t escape the mosquitoes. Being outside in the summer in Texas, it was understandable, but we were very careful about keeping doors and windows closed, but couldn’t escape them. Not a deal breaker though, as we’d gladly stay there again.

Relaxing Getaway
Amazing weekend with friends at this property! Communication before the stay was helpful and very responsive. Inside and outside this property was well maintained and was a great spot to relax. Hot tub and fire ring was perfect especially with the sunset. Highly recommend this property and owner to anyone looking to stay at Canyon Lake!

Hot and Ac Problems
The stay was good but we did not spend a lot of time at the house. The hot tube was broke which we were notified two days before the trip. The worst item was the AC. It would not let you turn it down pass 70 degrees. After being on the lake and rice all day would would think the house would be cool. Not at all it was 74 degrees and took most of the night to get down to 70. When I go on vacation I want to comfortable not sweating in the bed.

Comfortable Condo right on the lake.
The condo was very comfortable and spacious. It has a huge lawn that leads right down to the lake. There was plenty of space outside for the kids to run around. The condo is convenient to the grocery store, Lake Canyon Yacht Club, kayaking, parks and hiking on the east side of Canyon Lake. The hot tub was great for relaxing after a day of hiking. The only concern was that the bunkbed wobbled whenever one of the kids was on the top bunk. It didn't take much movement to get the bed to wobble. But the bottom bunk was ok and comfortable.

Wish we could have stayed longer
The house was so great! The deck with the hot tub and the outdoor fire pit was great. We didn’t have time to enjoy the fire pit due to us being in town for a wedding in the area that kept us on a tight schedule. Wish we had more time at the house.

It was very clean and looked just like pictures!
Over all the house and location were great. It was very clean and had everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinners. We did notice most of the batteries needed replacing for the DVD player/TV. In addition, the hot tub was set old "cool" mode likely to save energy, but we couldn't figure out or find directions anywhere on how to turn it up to a reasonable temp of 100-101. I dont know if the key pad was broken or what. We utilized the fire pit instead which was awesome on the cold November nights. We would definitely stay here again, especially if we could get to use the hot tub.
