"The lower rating 4/5 is due to the driveway area on the property which is rough but everything else was great. Partner and I stayed for 4 night. Place was exactly as it said- just right for 4 wonderful days in Denali. Host’s stepdaughter and friend were amazingly helpful for local tips, moose watching, northern lights and blueberries- we saw it all! Place was ideal for long days away and having a comfy bed and hot shower. Would love an electric skillet but everything else was well thought out...

"We loved our stay here. Despite some initial concerns over it being a dry cabin, we both ended up loving this accommodation over all the ones we stayed during our two week trip in AK. "My husband and I loved our stay at Tim’s cabin. It had everything we needed, was close to Denali NP and quite comfortable. We loved how the cabin was decorated and felt right at home. Tim kindly left some provisions in the cabin for us too! (There is no cell service, but the cabin was equipped with WiFi if you need to check in with people back home). We would absolutely stay here again in the future! Thank you Tim!"

"We were looking for an inexpensive place to stay which has a private bath and was near Denali. The lady at the office was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and has everything we needed. The bed wasn't very comfy, but that is a subjective thing. The walls between units were thin, so we turned on our white noise (phone) to sleep. They weren't loud, but we could easily hear them. Breakfast at the creekside restaurant was very good. "

"Loved the privacy and assess to Denali. The home was well stocked for anyone flying into the area. Beautiful views from the wrap around porch. The bedroom situation for 4 single adults was not ideal with one on the sofa sleeper for 2 nights. Not a problem for our short stay, but would have needed more space for a week. "

"The Denali Sunset House was to be our "base camp" for activities in the area. It was hard to leave the house. We wanted to just sit and enjoy nature. Becky and Terry have included so many thoughtful touches. House was spacious for our group of 8. Beds were comfortable. Communication was easy. Would happily stay again."
