"Property was excellent for a Christmas family get together for 19 people ranging from 5 to adults. The vastness of the out doors with a fire pit and things for the kids to play on, climb and explore was absolutely terrific. "We were looking for a place close to Dallas that would allow us to have a small place that would be kayak accessible. We found this location to be surprisingly quiet even though it has close neighbors and access to Cedar Creek Lake was easy right off the end of the property. We used our own kayaks although the host has boats available for guests. We also found a remarkable restaurant only miles from the cabin for a special anniversary dinner."

"We came here to celebrate our grandaughter that died a year to the day. The atmosphere, the touches the fresh air and hospitality of Mike and his family were unmatched. It was the perfect place for us to heal laugh and ring in a new year We will be back again !"

"We enjoyed our stay. Loved the size of the kitchen but the dishwasher didn’t seem to work very well. The Keurig didn’t work but thankfully we brought our own. The backyard was enjoyable. We hung out by the fire pit a lot. The hot tub didn’t get hot enough since the temps were in the 40’s so we didn’t use it unfortunately. There were 7 of us that stayed and we didn’t think there was enough comfortable seating in the living room. Just one small couch and 2 chairs. The game room was fun...

"The only issue that this facility has is parking, the property is backed up to a tall hill and the parking lot is a bit awkward and not made for large vehicles. The staff were very nice and professional, the room was clean orderly. I have no complaints. "
