"The location of this house is absolutely perfect! Right on the Ohio River, each sunrise was different on the river and all of them breathtaking! Loved watching the barges pass from the rocking chairs or swing on the deck. Quiet location and not too far from beautiful hiking trails. The drives to the trails were also gorgeous. We would stay here again."

"You can’t beat the views from the deck. Great to see the barges float down the river. Cell coverage is difficult (at least with Verizon), but that’s ok so that you can just get away & relax, and enjoy the river life. Took a driving tour along the Ohio River, really enjoyed all the small towns in the area. Great place to get away!"

"Amazing 5 days! The home was lovely! Very clean. The views were so beautiful. I have stage 4 breast cancer and the last year and a half have been difficult. This is just what the doctor ordered. My husband and I found a calmness we haven't had for a long time. We just stayed in the house the entire time to enjoy the beauty around us. Very quiet and so serene. Can't wait to rebook!"

"The property is nestled right in a corner with woods as a backdrop. It was SO clean on the inside and everything was well maintained and accomadating. A seperate little bunkhouse was the perfect getaway for my teenage boys, who each got to stay for a night. There is an "outhouse" which has the modern needs, including an insta-heat hot shower. "This was perfect for what we wanted. We were less than 10 mins to the boat ramp. The cabin itself was just the right size for the 3 of us plus we could have fit more. We loved the fire pit with wood they supplied for us. Very quiet and remote. We will def be back for a summer trip."

"We enjoyed the stay and had plenty of privacy. We did have one little problem when we arrived. The cleaning service hadn't made it to the cabin and the previous tenants were absolute slobs! There was opened steak and other food in the fridge, a ton of dirty dishes in the sink, the linens were soiled. However, our host Ashley was very responsive. She showed up about 5 minutes later and told us to go eat dinner on her while she cleaned. We had a nice dinner and when we got back the cabin was...
