"Location is great. Facilities are great. Front desk great. Felt that hot water did not last sufficiently long for a family of 4. Had golf cart parked on our parking space and when we tried driving around it to get to our unit we scratched car on the hedges which is unfortunate as it is a rental car. Some issues with bugs getting into the house which we had to remove as one of the members in our family was bug phobic. "

"Lovely and large cabana with kitchen, table, etc. the staff was impeccable in taking care. Unfortunately the wifi is yo-yo like and we had no hot water due to a malfunction. It took a few days to rectify and then we got warm water. "

"Close to all in Montverde. Beautiful gardens. We had a car so everything was easily accessible. Abit dated but clean and well maintained. I loved the kitchen. A great homebase for Montverde,'s attractions. "

"My husband and I went here for our Anniversary and we were not disappointed. Everyone from Patrick, his wife, the housekeeper made us feel welcome. The drivers were like family by the end of the day, Miguel and Luis are the best! Patrick was a great help suggesting and helping plan our tours. All you have to do is sit back and enjoy yourself."

"This home is special even though it poured most of our week there. We were told by several locals and neighbors that the torrential rain was unusual for January ( we thought we were going during the dry season). "A good spot to call home for an extended stay. Very comfortable. Good internet. Enjoyed the pool on sunny afternoons. Places to eat nearby. A bit far into La Fortuna on a very curved road but not horrible. I'd stay again."

"We loved the house. It is perfect for two friends. An upstairs and and a downstairs apartment. Both cozy and the basics. We loved climbing the spiral staircase to get to the third floor. There is a porch swing with gorgeous views of the lake and the volcano. Easily walk to several local places to eat and mini-market. Loved it here."

"The house is so cute and cozy! It has everything that you may need for your stay. From the kitchen to the different rooms, everything is set. It is private and the lake was indeed in front. It was clean and the communication with the owner was very easy. If peace and quiet is what you are looking for, that is absolutely your place. We got rainy days which made it hard to enjoy the lake. It was also far from activities so anywhere we wanted to go took us at least an hour and a half. "

"Our family enjoyed our stay and found it peaceful. The host was really helpful and his instructions to find the place were perfect. It is about 20 minutes drive from Santa Elena and most attractions in the area. It was great being on a coffee farm as we had learnt about coffee production in Arenal before going to Monteverde.
