La Buganvilla is located in the hamlet of Cafaggio in the municipality of Campiglia Marittima, at the foot of the hills of the Etruscan Coast. This two-level residential villa has been recently renovated, choosing to make the open-plan area on the first floor (with kitchen, dining and living area) completely white, a theatre on the garden, park and surrounding countryside thanks to the windows on all sides that prepare the guest, starting from the early hours of the morning, for a holiday made of light, comfort and relaxation. The bedrooms are furnished in classic style, with tones of white in the refined warm inserts in the upholstery, curtains and furnishing accessories. The stoneware floors in shades of powder contribute to the easy use of the property, the ceilings with chestnut beams and terracotta vaults refer to the Tuscan character of the location, the ensuite bathrooms offer intimacy and privacy, the white of the ceilings and furnishings of the open-plan area lends that touch of charm that is never missing in homes dedicated to hospitality and conviviality. The cypresses that tower along the driveway announce that we are in Tuscany so, just relax while listening to the robins chirping or the hoopoe peeking out, enjoy the sun among the olive trees, palms and fragrant bushes of the park, returning from a hot day at the beach or from visiting the surrounding borghi, pamper yourself by the pool or in the open-air lounge of the large gazebo, sipping a glass of red wine from the renowned cellars of the territory while contemplating the sun setting over the fields on the horizon. Interior:
La Buganvilla (230 sqm) is on two levels connected (through the hallways) by an internal wooden staircase and an external brick staircase. On the ground floor, the entrance facing the parking area opens into the hallway onto which open five bedrooms, all with ensuite bathroom with shower, minibar and direct exit to the garden. The two bedrooms on the gazebo side are recommended for people with mobility difficulties as they have bathrooms with aids and exits with ramps. On the first floor, the entrance (also on the parking side) opens into the hallway onto which open: the kitchen; the large open-plan area with kitchen, dining table and living area with Smart satellite TV; two double bedrooms with divisible beds, ensuite bathroom with shower and minibar, one of which opens onto the open-plan area. The villa has air conditioning, with independent control units, in all the bedrooms and living areas. The open-plan kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, an automatic retractable splash guard extractor hood, a wine cellar, two fridges, a freezer, two electric ovens. The second kitchen is also equipped with a LPG hob, American fridge and dishwasher. The fireplaces are ornamental. Air conditioning in the bedrooms in the living areas.
Park:
The park of La Buganvilla extends for 4 unfenced hectares on flat land mainly planted with lawn and with olive trees, palms, hibiscus, a young olive grove and rows of vines. The appurtenances are bordered by roses, oleanders, laurels, rosemary, herbs and the bright purple bougainvillea from which the villa derives its name. Twenty metres from the villa, outside the French windows of two bedrooms, is the large travertine-paved gazebo with dining table in natural stone and an outdoor sitting area with a cast-iron grill on a large stone ledge equipped with worktops and sink. Three bedrooms are served by two porticos. The advantage of the French windows of the ground floor bedrooms and the convenient staircase to the first floor is that these facilitate the fruition of the outdoor spaces, granting guests independence while still sharing their holiday. Past the automatic entrance gate, a 120 m drive in stabilised gravel, bordered by cypress trees, leads to the 5-car uncovered parking area, next to which is the room with the washing machine. With the park illuminated by lovely corten lanterns and romantic spotlights at the base of the trees, beautiful Campiglia Marittima on its hill and the magnificent residences on the knoll light up the evenings following the poetic sunset over the pool, for one last photograph to remind you of your holiday in this unforgettable location.Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
The swimming pool of La Buganvilla is 25 metres from the villa, on the same level as the ground floor, and exposed to the southwest so always in full sun and enjoying the magnificent sunsets over the countryside on the horizon beyond the vineyard. It is reached on travertine steps across the lawn. Measuring 14 x 5 m with a constant depth of 1.50 m, it is lined in light blue PVC with a stoneware border and has salt purification and a metal ladder for access to the water. The sunbathing area in non-slip stoneware is equipped with sunbeds, umbrellas and a solar shower. It is equipped with a cover (on request), it can be heated (on request, for a fee).The pool has lighting both inside the pool and on the surrounding lawn area and is available from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.
