"From the outside this accommodation does not look promising- a ground floor property in a block of council flats, the shared hallway is pretty bleak. But the flat itself was fine, a bit basic but it had everything we needed, nice and clean, plenty of towels, quiet despite being next to a busy road. "We had a lovely family weekend in Forestside House. It was very clean and well located. It sleeps 16 but the dining and seating accommodation does not cater for 16. We were 10 and could eat together but not sit and relax together. The dining table and a couple of chairs were not very stable. One of the oven doors was broken and a couple of cooker rings were not working. This made cooking for a large number challenging. We are unlikely to stay here again."

"A spacious, fully equipped, excellently located home. We had such an incredible holiday, including visits to Argyle Coffee, Mount Stuart, Steam boat Waverley, Colintraive and Portavadia. "Absolutely loved this pod. Stayed as family 2 ad and 2 ch. Place was soo clean on arrival and soo well layed out. Bathroom was far bigger than you would think with lovely white towels and complimentary toiletries. Bunk beds were fab, kids loved them and plenty of room in the bottom one for a tall 11 yo. The murphy bed was amazing , it just appears from the wall and is most definitely one of the comfiest beds i have slept in. Surrounded by fields with cows for neighbours and alpacas and chicken's...

"A home away from home. Our second stay at this fantastic lodge within 3 months. Our first trip was as a family with 3 young children and the most recent trip with my father and sister. Everything you could need ever need inside and outside from children’s colouring and games to condiments to views of the sea and the most beautiful starry nights. A welcome bottle of wine and chocolate on arrival and Kris was a fantastic host. Thank you very much, hopefully we will be back again very soon"
