'Granny's Country Cottage' is a peaceful home base for friends and families that are seeking a country retreat and a peaceful location to unwind.

Bedroom 1: Queen Bed | Bedroom 2: King Bed | Bedroom 3: Queen Bed

OUTDOOR LIVING: A restful covered front porch, bench swing, furnished outdoor dining on the patio, a fire pit with wood, forest/farmland views, and groomed walking paths throughout the forested land. Pastures of grazing cattle, chickens, pygmy goats and ann occasional deer sighting incircle the home.
INDOOR LIVING: 2 flat-screen TVs, Direct-TV service, DVD player, comfortable furnishings, dinning and lounging for six, games, books and videos.
KITCHEN: Fully equipped, drip coffee maker, microwave, crockpot, stove, oven, cooking basics, dish-ware/flatware, additional table and seating for six on adjacent patio.
GENERAL: Cental heat/air, Linens/towels, iron & board, washer & dryer, hairdryer, self-check-in
PARKING: Long circular driveway, 220-volt electric car charging station, trailer parking.

This 3-bedroom, 1-bath vacation rental sits on 19 acres of farmland just outside of Campbellsville, allowing easy access to downtown and outdoor adventures. 'Granny's Country Cottage' boasts a cozy and fully furnished den, kitchen, indoor and outdoor dining areas, and everything else you need for a relaxing stay. Rent a boat for a day on Green River Lake or check out the Bourbon Trail with Makers Mark just 35 minutes up the road!

Perfect place for our family
Came to town to visit our daughter who goes to school at the University. We have stayed at a couple other properties but this has been the best. Perfect distance from town, the rural countryside is amazing, home is lovely, host is amazing, it was everything we could have wanted and more. Loved it!

We Loved It!
This was the perfect spot for a weekend getaway for our family reunion. Not only was this the same price or even less than staying nightly in a hotel, but it was so peaceful and beautiful. The farm was amazing. The house was great and well stocked with everything you would need. The pictures cannot do this property justice. The owners were also very responsive and such kind people. If we didn't actually have a family reunion and places to be, I think we would've had even more fun just staying at the house and on the property for the weekend. We would love to rent this every yesr when we come down. Thank you so much!

Home away from Home
I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Granny's House and will definitely make this my place to stay when I return to visit my hometown and family. From enjoying a morning coffee on the front porch to watch the sun rise to an evening in the back to watch the sun set is exactly what I needed. Far away but near enough
Everything was great. It's exactly what I was looking for. It's far enough out that you'd dont see to many people. The occasional car coming down the street, but only a 10 min drive to walmart for anything you might need. You wouldn't even know it was there until you went looking. Which is great. Growing up in the country and moving to city is a change, this place felt right to me. Didnt get to explore the trails out back, was raining. Normally that wouldnt stop me but it does when you have company. They house really does feel like your grandma's house. Everything was clean and neat and you can tell where the house was remodeled, like the bathroom. They told me the kitchen is going to be done soon so I definitely want to come back and see. If anyone reads this and doesnt have knowledge of older faucets. When starting the shower, pull down under the faucet where the water comes out to start the shower. My gf took a bath not knowing how to do it. As for the area, everyone is soo friendly and ready to help. In the city I get a ton of people staring at me and avoiding me. I'm kind of a minority mixture of too many but down here no one looks twice and everyone's ready to chit chat. Definatly come stay, and check out the peddlers market. I honestly want to move here just because of this weekend.

Home Away from Home
This is our 3rd time staying at Granny’s cottage. We have enjoyed it every time. We have traveled each time with different family members and just love to stay at granny’s farmhouse as we call it. Our son attended Campbellsville University and Granny’s was a perfect location to the college but still out in the country and each time we hosted my son and his roommates to a family dinner. It is also a great location for some great siteseeing from Maker’s Mark to Lincoln’s Childhood home to Churchill Downs! So much better than staying in a hotel!

Granny's Cottage and the Cows Came Free!
Granny's Cottage was the perfect location for us when we came for a family celebration right down the road. Also, it was easy to zip into town when the urge for pizza hit. We had 5 full grown adults and there was plenty of comfy room inside and on the lovely front porch, complete with swing. In the shadow of a stately red barn, the cows across the street made us feel especially welcome!

Quaint, Nostalgic and Relaxing
We were a family of 5 on a short vacation and Granny's Country Cottage was our home base. Everyone loved it, even our teenagers! The pictures do not do this home justice. It is ADORABLE! And very comfortable. Darlene and Ronnie were wonderful hosts. There was nothing that the home lacked. The location was soooo peaceful. I would definitely recommend this vacation home!
