"The original home is unique and gorgeous and the additions, the sunroom facing sunrises and the lodge style master chef kitchen gave us plenty of room to spread out. The large lawn and driveway gave us plenty of areas to walk the dogs and the beach was a daily swim spot for the dogs. The pool was one of the nicest we have had yet. We love the places with nice pools facing the boats out on the water. We will be back again for sure"

"This was a comfortable home, and a nice location. We were staying mostly for business, so didn’t do much in town, but the main restaurant and shopping areas are two short blocks away. We did use the nearby nature trail to walk our dogs. The only concerns others might have with the house, and the reason for four stars instead of five, were: minimal kitchen equipment (few pots/pans etc.), steep narrow stairs to the second floor, and low water pressure in the shower. "What a wonderful stay we had! The house was so comfortable with plenty of space for everyone to relax and enjoy each other's company. We enjoyed the brisk mornings on the porch and the gorgeous sunsets in the evenings. Very comfortable beds and linens. The scenery and landscape in the area are breathtaking. Every turn provided another incredible view of the water. Fishing Creek is close to so many beautiful, quaint towns along the Chesapeake Bay. Highly recommend!"
