"The house had something for everyone. Our puppies enjoyed running around the property. Our kids enjoyed the large living room for their dance game and pool. We all enjoyed the corn hole game and our beautiful surroundings. Everything was clean and the beds were fairly comfortable. I was super thankful for the AC. The UP was warmer than usual for September. We have no major complaints just two suggestions. A light over the stove would be great, but certainly no deal breaker. And the coffee maker...

"Not easy to contact owner, or any person if we had questions.property was fine except inside stairs. Absolutely filthy..really no need to remove shoes. In fact one would not want to..stairs way too dirty..we originally were to be 6 but ended up as 2 so other than one bedroom none of the others were touched . Other odd thing..only bathroom was downstairs..little inconvenient to say the least. "

"Very clean, nice, and comfortable home. Its very convenient if you plan on riding the local trails. Since its an older house the stairs to the bedrooms and bathroom are quite narrow and steep, but not bad at all, just something to keep in mind. It is more of a guest house, but Threse and Mike were so kind and welcoming. We appreciated the time to chat with them to learn the history of the homes and see their beautiful garden. We would definitely come back again. "

"Very spacious and clean. Comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood, but close to town. If we'd had more time, we could have played some backyard games. Everything we needed was there. We really enjoyed spending time on the roomy deck (we lucked out with perfect weather). Living room and eating area had lots of room to gather. Everyone said they'd stay there again."

"The location of this rental could not be much better. Views from the house and deck were spectacular and walking along the shore each day was a treat. Two areas to review: We definitely could have used more dinner plates as there there only 7 and some nights we needed plates for serving as well at dinner. Upstairs bedroom door would not stay closed, had to wedge a washcloth in the door jam to keep it closed."

"2 retired couples with small dogs looking for a place to relax and enjoy friends and each other and found it here. Amenities were all there. Very clean older farm type house on 40 acres with a pond. A trail is kept mowed to walk the acreage. Pond, Picnic table and fire pit a short walk from the house. Has grill provided. Enjoyed watching the deer walk thru. Beautiful sunsets.minutes from Houghton/Hancock and a short drive to Copper Harbor."

"We were actually bumped up to the Trail House, a welcome surprise as I’d just had a procedure the day before and was having some pain and mobility issues. Was provided with check-in details days before arrival. The cottage was gorgeous, spotless, beds and furniture were comfortable. Dependable WI-FI. Centrally located on the peninsula. Brochures were provided and were helpful in planning for food and gas and some attractions we wanted to see this time. We would rent this again and again! "

"This beautiful beach house was the absolute best one yet! Great for 2 and room for 6. Perfect for families, kids or just a pair of old fogies! We had 3 days and nites of gorgeous weather, and a perfect location to check out the Keweenaw Peninsula and all it has to offer. Just enjoying our coffee and listening to the waves was pure enjoyment. We would definitely return to this jewel if we return from the Lone Star state!"
