"This was our second stay at the Mews because we loved it so much the first time. It is the perfect, cozy refuge to enjoy the beautiful sights of Kilkenny. Mel is a wonderful hostess and was very prompt to respond to our questions and needs. A++"

"This was a very lovely house, however there was an oil leak with a VERY STRONG ODOR !! This odor gave me a headache. The owner was aware of this problem because her son came over shortly after we arrived, said that they would get someone out to repair it but after 4 nights it was not repaired.. The electric tea kettle had so much red liquid sediment in it I was afraid to use it .. The liquid hand soap dispenser was almost empty in the bathroom. No extra toilet paper was provided."

"We originally booked a 1 bedroom but the night before we got there we were told that wasn’t available and we were being given a different unit. I felt uncomfortable with that at such late notice but the house we were given was much larger and grander. The location was perfect for our stay and travels. The owner was kind and helpful. They have a family farm and were working a lot so we appreciated his time. The views are pretty and it was very peaceful."

"Brilliant accommodation! Really comfortable, it was great having a kitchen and lounge space. The hosts were really lovely and incredibly helpful. "Bolans Holiday House is a comfortable house in Thomastown. The house was spotless and check in was very easy. The owner’s brother met us at the house and explained everything we needed to know. He had also stocked some essentials like bread, butter, ham, milk, cookies, and even a bottle of wine, to be used during our stay. This was very thoughtful and saved us from having to head to a supermarket as soon as we arrived."
