"La dame est très gentille, elle donne tous les renseignements que nous lui demandons mais la note de 8/10 pour l’établissement ne correspond en rien à l’état des lieux. Deux chambres sont correctes si on ne regarde pas le ménage, la troisième chambre avec salle de bain, la robinetterie du lavabo ne fonctionne pas. "First of all, the lodge is exactly as portrayed in the pictures. We absolutely loved our 8 day stay in in this remote and quiet countryside. Lough Carra was beautiful, and we had sheep out front and dairy cows in the back. Beautifully landscaped as well. The caretakers, Jim and Mary were exceptional. We chose this place because we waned private and and countryside. We got it. It was the perfect base for our wanderings in Co. Mayo, Co. Galway and Connemara. My only sugesstion is for clearer...

"The location and the property were both superb... Mary the owner ought to be cloned for every B&B. She was THE BEST....loved our interactions with her. "Our stay was excellent. Beautiful cottage in an excellent location, close to Castlebar with good road connections for touring the beautiful county of Mayo. The hosts Declan and Laura are very welcoming and very accommodating. Absolutely lovely people. A real genuine "Cead Mile Failte" is felt here. "We had a great stay at this house. It was so homely and had everything you needed with so many extras like games and toys for the kids. We loved it so much we were sad to leave! "The location and accommodations are wonderful but the pdf instructions from the owner appear to be out-dated and a little confusing. The directions state that guests need to replace wood or peat used for the tiny stove in the living room - but there were no instructions on where to obtain the replacement fuel. It also seemed unreasonable to ask guests to take their garbage away with them (not just place in a bin outside, but take it away from the premises), and to check the electric meter upon...

"We had a great stay at Nephin View. The house is comfortable and clean. It had plenty of room for the 5 adults in our group. It is located in a scenic location with nice views out the windows and even sheep grazing quietly in the front yard. The owner was flexible with our check-in time and responsive to the questions we sent to him by text. We made use of the house's large and well-equipped kitchen. I highly recommend staying here when in County Mayo."

"My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our short stay at Cartron cottage. We got the warmest Irish welcome from the lovely Kathleen, complete with the best home made brown bread and marmalade. The cottage was spotlessly clean and it contains everything you could possibly require. Thank you Kathleen so much for everything."
