"The lake was wonderful! The dock, kayak, canoe, yard games, and sun porch were very nice. The entire inside was beyond disgusting, and despite reaching out to the property manager several times, and being told help was coming, none ever came. Our sheets had dog hair, dirt, and debris ALL through them, dishes in the cabinets were dirty, every window had cobwebs and loads of dead bugs, the door was broken, and everything was as “janky”. For what you get, it should be a LOT cheaper per night. It’s...

"The house is so much more spacious than it appears. Kitchen is a great size with abundant seating. Views are spectacular, people we met in the area were extremely friendly. We didn't stay in the summer, but this is definitely a perfect kayak base camp. Will definitely consider coming back in the summertime for just that."

"We stayed at the wonderful Loza house for the weekend. The unit was beautiful, in excellent condition and very well equipped. The check-in process was seamless and our host, Jon was responsive and a pleasure to deal with. The location was amazing, one of the best on-lake locations we have stayed at over the last few years. Overall everything exceeded our expectations, highly recommend."

"I had a great experience at this property! It was the perfect place to watch the eclipse, and made a a great home base. I was pleasantly surprised at how well stocked the kitchen was, as far as dining ware and cookware goes. We needed to call Albert to turn up the heat, but he arrived promptly and was very pleasant to interact with. We loved the decor of the place, and would love to return if we find ourselves in the neighborhood again."

"Great place for a family. Convenient to Ausable Chasm, some nice restaurants and a great state day use facility. Great fenced yard and there were s’more sticks which was convenient. Everything felt very clean and the check in was very easy. It was very quiet inside and the WiFi worked very well for streaming Netflix."

"Every year my family and I visit the Lake Champlain area, and this year we decided to try this home in Port Kent. It was very spacious and clean. The neighborhood is quiet, and it is a pleasant walk to the lake, or to the marsh nature preserve nearby. Port Kent is also close to Ausable Chasm, and to Ausable Brewing Company for that matter. It was a very enjoyable stay here, and plan to return in the future."

"Interesting home, well appointed. Some issues with cleanliness, for instance moldy coffee grounds in the coffee pot. House was 51 degrees on arrival, took over 24 hours to warm up to 63 degrees. No help provided by owner or Vacasa. However the location and layout of the house worked perfectly for us and we had a spectacular eclipse experience."

"This house is exactly as described. The house and the location were great. kitchen was well equipped (although the old style replica stove was a little challenging for a Thanksgiving dinner - but we made it work). Small details such as spices and Tupperware and aluminum foil made for a nice touch. Would definitely stay again."

"Overall positive experience from this property. Pros: Beautiful cabin in a great location on the Ausable River. Close enough to all of the things you would need or want from your stay while also giving you the privacy you're looking for. Cons: I believe the cleaner did not do a thorough cleaning of the master bedroom which was disappointing. We had to re-wash all of the bedding upon our arrival."

"We loved this rental and our trip to the lake was perfect! The cabin was clean, the instructions from the host were easy, and the views of the lake were stunning. We spent the days swimming and enjoyed the fire pit each night. Being so close to the water was one of our favorite parts of the trip. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!"

"Hotel is outdated but bed and pilows exceded my expectations. First impression when entering check in is not so great. Ceiling tiles were disgusting.Probably from water infiltration.We said to ourselves omg cant wait to see what the rooms were like. Probably ending up sleeping in the car but room was really ok. Really small but clean. Hallway bit smelly but with old carpet it s normal. Lots of towels,coffee maker,fridge nice pool pretty quiet. Will not be going back but for 1 night it s fine....
