"We really loved this property. Location: it is a little out of the town, not by much but it is a steep hill to climb, so if you don't like a bit of a walk this is not the place for you. It has 2 access points, 1 by vehicle and 1 by foot. We read reviews about the vehicle access being concerning if you didnt have a 4v4. We had a Yaris and managed just fine. "Very cool place with a very elevated view over Santa Teresa. A giant one-bedroom setup with the bathroom behind the bed means this is really only for couples comfortable with that setup. Check-in was coordinated over WhatsApp and we were greeted upon arrival. Our rental car made it up the steep driveway on the second attempt and there's a large flight of stairs, so you should feel comfortable climbing to get here. We had issues with power, 1) where it went out in the city for several hours...

"Super Aufenthalt. Kochnische für alle ist an sich gut ausgestattet grundsätzlich kann man hier alles zubereiten. Lage befindet sich unmittelbar in Strandnähe playa Carmen. Maximal 2-3 Minuten zu Fuß. Auch wenn die Santeria lodge nah an der Straße liegt bekommt man den Lärm eher nicht mit.. nur die Pfeifen die ggf. Hart auf ihr Gaspedal ballern, aber die hört man dann auch oben in den Bergen :-) AC funktioniert tadellos. Pool hat bis ca. 15:00 Uhr Sonne :-) aber ansonsten kann man die letzten...

"Beautiful, beautiful property. Great location at the top of a hill and amongst the trees, breathtaking views of the ocean. It was a pleasure to wake up and look out the windows. The lodge is extremely comfortable and sophisticated in a very authentic way, it was exactly what I was looking for. We stayed at the mango house and it was perfect for what we needed: great size (pretty big, actually) superb kitchen area at the balcony, great bed and linens. "A completely run down place. When entering the room there was mouse poop on the beds and the shelves. Taking a shower was impossible because there wasn’t enough water available. Place is not safe. Long dark walkways without any illumination in the property to get to your cabin. At night lots of traffic noise and parties in the neighborhood. Not recommendable"
