"La Cale was quaint, comfortable and easy to locate."

"Beautiful spacious house near Cape Breton National Park. Great location with restaurants in walking distance. House was spotless and well equipped. Loved it-highly recommend."

"Here are a few things that we would like to add: There was not enough shampoo, no saran wrap or foil paper, no tea or coffee, no curtains in patio door. Oven mitts should be replaced as one of the ladies got burned removing something from oven. Every place that we stayed had enough shampoo and all these items mentioned above.We would like to say thank you for letting us sign in at 3 pm instead of 4 pm which helped a lot."

"We stayed here two nights while we explored the Cabot Trail and Cape Breton. It was a perfect location right on the water! Beautiful view despite the poor weather we had. Nice to walk the boardwalk and walk to dinner. The placement of the potty in the bathroom was curious, but we had a giggle over it. That said, the kitchen was equipped with what we needed, beds were comfy, and it was a very cute apartment! "

"This was the PERFECT place to stay for us. Four adults (two couples) so the living room and deck was perfect for us to be able to socialize comfortable in the evening. The kitchen was large and stocked with all the dishes and appliances you would need. It was SUPER clean. The double beds were cozy - we are used to a Queen size, so we just cuddled. "We spent a week on Cape Breton in this beautiful property for our first stay in Nova Scotia. The house is well equipped and has a high standard. It had everything we needed and the kitchen with the view was gorgeous. Michael was a very helpful and responsive host and we appreciated all the help. "A unique stay in a great location. Everything you need in a compact way. You just need to be careful on the ladder with the middle of the night trip to the toilet! "

"From our initial booking months ago to reluctantly checking out today, our stay at this lovely vacation home has been exceptional. Communication with Michael has been so pleasant and attentive. The home has every convenience you might need and then some. Little details have been attended to. This might be the first place we’ve rented where the kitchen knives are actually sharp! Wonderful. Do give Woodroad, a restaurant recommended to us by Michael, a try. It too is perfection. The sunsets...

"Trailside cabins are set back from road, in a private setting. Interiors are spotlessly clean, efficient with everything you need, nicely decorated. Private access path to rocky ocean front. Very accomodating owners. "

"Jay's cabin was perfect for us. Spotlessly clean, nicely decorated, super comfy beds, well stocked kitchen and great location on the Cabot Trail. We enjoyed days exploring the trail and evenings on the porch or walking to the ocean on trails on the property - views from the cliff-top were magnificent. Thanks for a great stay, Jay.
