This beach front house has all the flavor and charm you expect when you vacation in Mexico. It's decorated with flair and lots of color to give your eyes a visual delight. The house boasts 3 good size bedrooms, 2.5 baths, an open living/dining/kitchen, a courtyard with lots of plants, and patio beach side that is covered with a roof deck. And just beyond is a fire pit for nightly enjoyment. It doesn't get any better than this!

Great place!!
The location is perfect for a beach get away. We found the place to be very clean and decorated to make you feel right at home. The beds were very comfortable, and we would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Punta Banda
This home offered a beautiful spot with the beach right out the back door. Everything about the location is what we expected: beach access, views across the bay, and many activities if you like outdoor life. The home as advertised looks in much better condition than it actually is, although it is quite acceptable. It does have a bit of a run down quality to it with wobbly furniture, doors, and cabinets. The kitchen is mostly well furnished, but some items need refurbishing. The bathroom toilets are an issue and can become clogged even though paper waste is placed in the trash. Water must be carefully monitored since it must be delivered, which was fine with us since we are big on conservation. Also the pump switch went out so we temporarily had no water to flush. The manager was very responsive and helped to correct the issue right away. None of the above was necessarily negative and we enjoyed our stay there despite the few inconveniences. We are only letting you know what to expect. We would definitely stay there again.

Great beach location
The location was very impressive and the outdoor living areas were phenomenal. If you want to be on the beach it would be hard to find a better location. The unit came with a bundle of firewood and sitting by the fire on the beach was magnificent. The directions provided were accurate and we had no trouble finding the place. Check in went perfectly as described. Internet service with Wi-Fi was reliable and fast during our stay. I only have two negatives. As others have commented the wall heaters don't work and the space heaters had a hard time keeping the place warm. The other problem is the quality of the water from the underground tank feeding the plumbing. It was impossible to get a comb through my hair after washing it. It felt like I washed it in salt water. The house came with a 5 gallon bottle of purified water and it was simple and cheap the get that refilled at the grocery store. We pretty muched relied in purified water for cleaning dishes and cooking.

Loved the house and the location.
We stayed here over X-mas and it was fantastic. The house is just as described, and the neighborhood is calm and quiet. The view of the bay and the mountains is spectacular. Highly recomend this house and we are definitely planning on coming back here in the future.

Great location
The home was in a great location. You are far from the city so that makes it even more relaxing. The beach is literally in your back yard. The home was cozy and the neighborhood was peaceful and quiet. Cons: There are LOTS of mosquitos outside so make sure and take repellants of all kinds. Also too many dust bunnies and a few of the door knobs do not work properly. The faucet filters clogged up quickly but that is an easy fix. I had a very unpleasant interaction with the property manager over a simple question about the home that I asked which changed my opinion on staying here in the future.

Great place
This was a Great place to stay. Very beautiful. Good hosts. It was a little cold inside at times. The wall heaters need some maintenance. However, if you use the gas stove and the fireplace and the space heaters you can get to a nice comfortable temperature. The showers had plenty of hot water for the 4 of us. The views are amazing and the nights are nice and quiet. Very close to the Bufadora which is a must see. It does take 30 minutes to drive to Ensenada. Would stay here again for sure.

Great Getaway
My family and I came for a short 3 night getaway and it was exactly what we needed. Peaceful, right on the beautiful 6 mile beach and very comfortable. All the amenities were there for cooking and having indoor or outdoor fires. Cute little local restaurants, the famous blowhole and horse back riding on the beach is just minutes away. We will definitely be back!

Sunsets and bonfires!
This was our second stay at Lengüeta Arenosa and we enjoyed it as much as our first. If quite beaches, beautiful sunsets and bonfires are your thing, this is your place! The house is open, airy and clean and can comfortably accommodate six people. The area is safe and there is plenty of parking available. There's a small market nearby but we recommend bringing groceries. Our only minor criticism is the kitchen could use additional/larger pots and pans. We highly recommend this house and look forward to our next visit!

Beautiful home … THE BEST LOCATION!
This beautiful home is literally on the water! We enjoyed being just steps away from the beautiful beach. The house had EVERYTHING needed to enjoy our stay and both the host and property manager were easy to communicate with. We will definitely book this home again!

Relaxing - very enjoyable!
We had a very good time, easy access to beach, very nice place, and owner/manager very responsive. I asked if there was a chance of getting a different grill and the owner showed up with one within a couple of hours - very impressive! The small town up the road is very accommodating, people very polite and there are some really good places to eat as well as little markets which have about anything you need. We will definitely look to return!

Location, location, location
The most important thing to know about this property is that it is the best possible beach location. I loved being able to decide to "go to the beach" fifteen times a day and it taking 30 seconds to get there. At night when the tide is high, your pillow is a stone's throw away from the lapping water's edge. And it is as close to a private beach as you can imagine. Through the windows, we saw dolphins and pelicans hunting daily and encountered no seagulls (I hate those scavenging beach bullies). Appliances are new and house was in good condition except for the bug screens. They had significant holes in them or gaps between the screens and the panes or were just plain missing. I personally was not bothered by this or the resulting occasional mosquito presence, but my husband is allergic and complained about getting bit every day. There was a problem that arose with the water system that was a significant nuisance. But, having been a landlord myself, I know that breakdowns don't ask property managers permission to happen or even ask when would be the most convenient time to happen. What matters is that the property manager was prompt and gracious in handling the problem and also made sure that the renters following us were moved to a different beach location so that they would not suffer any inconvenience. OVERALL: My husband and I have rented a beach house nearly every year of our marriage. This beach house is by far my favorite of them all. You are always going to have hiccups in a rental property unless you are willing to pay for overpriced properties. The dream location of this property far outweighs any small inconveniences that we encountered. And my husband would add: he was even able to watch the NBA Finals on the satellite tv provided while listening to waves crash just a few feet away. That's a serious win!

Beautiful beach with miles of surf and sand and dog friendly. Secured parking for car was nice. Close enough to shop and wine taste around Ensenada, but far enough away to enjoy the peaceful, quiet surroundings.

Gorgeous, private beachfront property
We had a great time at Casa Abuelos. The house is located right on the beach, giving a private beachfront experience that is magnificent. The house is decorated in happy Mexican flair with three bedrooms offering space and privacy. And we happened to be there over a few cold and rainy days, but there was a giant fireplace that we used each day. When we arrived in the evening, the heat wasn't working, so we reached out to Irka who came to the house immediately with portable heaters for us to use until the electrician arrived early the next morning to fix it. Down the street we found a local marina bar and restaurant where locals gathered and welcomed us with open arms, from karaoke night to a Christmas buffet dinner. We had an awesome time!

Location was great, not many food options close by but if you just want to relax enjoy the waves and don’t mind cooking at least 1 meal a day this place is the one. Very charming casita. Everything work great with the house so we didn’t need to bother owner or property manager.
