"This is hands-down the best rental we’ve ever had in the Seneca Rocks area. We travel to the area every Fall for trout fishing and will be renting this house again! The pictures do not do it justice. The house is beautiful and the decorations inside are well thought out. It is so peaceful. The view of Seneca Rocks from the living room windows is unbelievable!! The house is well stocked - it even has lots of cozy blankets, which I loved! We also enjoyed the outside fire pit. You won’t regret...

"A friend and I rendezvoused in the Canaan Valley in early November to hike in the nearby Dolly Sods and other trails in the area. Garagemahal was exactly as advertised: clean, quiet, spacious (for two people), and conveniently located. The owners/managers (Chip and Laurie), who live across the driveway, were friendly and available to provide information or report problems to (there weren't any), but were otherwise unobtrusive. We will return."

"Beautiful cabin nestled in the trees. Perfect place for visiting Blackwater Falls Park. The cabin was the perfect size and offered all of the amenities needed. We have our dog who always travels with us and this place was perfect for her too. The bed was very comfortable. I especially enjoyed the morning sunrise from the deck!"

"Nice and clean, very comfortable. Would stay again. Contract confusing over using heat or a/c, sounded like could not adjust temp, touch thermostates. We were only there 1 night so was not much of a problem at this time of year. Internet was an issue, it was the only time I had to pay for internet and was very hard to get connected. For the price of the rental we all thought the wifi should be included. This was by far quite a major inconvience. Otherwise very nice. "

"My wife and I stayed the weekend for an anniversary getaway. The cabin was perfect! It had everything we needed and was so cozy and comfortable. My wife especially enjoyed the old cast iron tub! We enjoyed exploring and off-roading with our Jeep durning the day, and cooking amazing meals together at night. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment. Dianh was a wonderful host and very accommodating. We would definitely like to come back for another stay at some point. "

"Jim is a lovely and responsive host. The property is just as pictured on the website. The home is a treasure trove of objects from around the world. The bedrooms are comfortable and the kitchen has most all conveniences that we needed to prepare meals. We were there in early November, I'm sure it is even more beautiful during the summer and autumn months when you can enjoy the outside features. "

"My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend and were pleasantly surprised by all the host had to offer! From complimentary snacks and drinks and a well stocked kitchen, to comfortable beds and a cozy wood-burning fireplace, we truly felt at home. The binder of information about the area went above and beyond, giving us lots of ideas for activities and destinations. Having dry wood available for the fireplace was a great bonus. "We booked this last minute and are so pleased with our decision! This cabin has everything you need to just get away from it all! The kitchen is fully stocked, it has a washer & dryer, full sized stove, and even a dishwasher! Oh, and WiFi which is helpful with the limited cell service in the area. Seneca Rocks and Spruce Knob are just a few of the amazing places to visit while in the area. Again, we had a great stay!"

"Had a such a great time at Jim's chalet. Location is amazing and the property had fantastic touches all throughout and was so comfortable. We loved watching movies on the incredible entertainment system and the kitchen had everything needed to make great meals at home. Communication with Jim is outstanding. Would love to stay again!!"
