Beautiful Country Setting - Super Clean
Our church group stayed here for the weekend, and it was perfect! The house was spacious enough to comfortably accommodate all 12 of us, with plenty of bedrooms and a well-equipped kitchen that made cooking together a breeze. The dining table seats 10, and there are additional barstools at the counter for extra seating. The internet was fast and reliable for streaming, and the house was spotlessly clean with ample hot water for everyone. The location was ideal—set back on a long, private lane in a beautiful country setting. We highly recommend it!

Scenic Ridge lived up to it’s name.
9 girlfriends got together for a fall hiking trip. The house has plenty of space but you don’t lose one another. Loved being able to all fit comfortably either at the dining table, the kitchen, the living room, the front porch for the sunset or the fire pit for a fire. The view is stunning in every direction. The house had everything we needed from fire wood to spices to cookie sheets. The beds were comfortable, some brought their pillows to make sleeping easy. The house is very clean and Joann is wonderful.

Step back, breathe and take in the beauty
Our extended family enjoys the annual fall weekend at Scenic Ridge Guest House. This is our third year at Scenic Ridge and each year we love it more. It's great to have a quiet and relatively isolated place to just step back and enjoy one another's company, surrounded by God's beautiful scenery. We kept track of time by watching the cows on the far hill side! Thanks Joann for another wonderful weekend!

Awesome Friendship Get Away
There were six couples who stayed for two nights. We are a group of 12. Some friends and some family members. We wanted a fall get away to spend time together seeing Amish country, making good food and playing board games. This space was ideal. There are seven bedrooms two full baths and a kitchen that we could all be in comfortably. It was amazing! We did some sight seeing. Had a bonfire on our second night and thoroughly enjoyed our time together. We booked again for July!

Perfect Birthday Weekend
9 long time girlfriends stayed for a long weekend of relaxing, crafts, and a homecooked birthday meal together. We love the fact that there are plenty of beds, bathrooms, and rockers on the porch.

Wonderful Stay
Our visit was amazing! The house is very clean and very welcoming! We enjoyed the quietness and the rocking chairs on the front porch were so comfortable. The viewing of the sunset was just the best! Spacious kitchen and living room. The owner and the caretaker were very polite and are always quick at getting back with you with any questions you may have!

Outstanding
Our experience at Scenic Ridge far exceeded any expectations as our full family came to celebrate a birthday. Our host thought of everything, including a wooden bowl for our Cesar salad and a nice lighter for the fire pit. The downstairs suites were perfect for our aging family members and the kids loved seeing the horses on the way up the drive. Thank you for the grand memories!

Absolutely Beautiful rustic setting
We are a family gospel singing group from eastern Kentucky and we had booking to a local church. We could have stayed in hotel but would have been separated. This beautiful scenic guest house offered us an opportunity to all stay together and we loved every second of our trip. We most certainly plan on coming back when we are in the area.

This house was perfect, literally everything was provided, from kindling for the fire pit to serving platters. EVERYTHING we looked for, it was there. The views were amazing, extremely peaceful weekend away. This house is also a quick drive to Mohican and Loudinville.

Pleasant stay once again!
We returned to this amazing property again after enjoying our stay last summer. The kids LOVED the visit from the horses, the room to run and play, catch lightening bugs while us adults enjoyed the porch time the most. The house is well stocked and very clean! Faith Baptist Church Ladies' Retreat
We have been coming annually since 2021 and simply love this place! It fits us perfectly for the group that comes. It is peaceful and inviting - a perfect place to leave the world behind for a few days and fellowship with each other and with the Lord. Thank You for all you do!

Relaxing, fully equipped farmhouse!
We stayed at the Scenic Ridge Guest House during the total solar eclipse weekend from Apr 6-9 and it was an amazing stay. Not only was the house very clean, but it had everything we could need for in amenities, including satellite internet, games to entertain the family, neighboring horses, and a large DVD collection for kids to watch. We were able to cook some great meals in the fully equipped kitchen and roast marshmallows in the firepit with the metal roasting sticks and plenty of firewood provided. At night, the stars were visible and amazing to just sit in the rocking chairs on the porch to relax and observe. Nearby, at Malabar Farm State Park, we were also surprised to learn that The Shawshank Redemption was filmed in the area. The highlight of the trip was being able to see the total solar eclipse from the property itself which gave us 2 mins of totality. The weather was 70F and very low amount of clouds so we could not have been luckier to see this once in a lifetime event. Our family was able to hang out on the front lawn, see the eclipse and run our various experiments to see the effects of the solar eclipse. For the totality itself, which was the first time for a majority of our group, it was a breathtaking experience. I would highly recommend staying here again, especially for large groups since the house is spacious and full of various activities to keep everyone entertained. The host, Joann, was very communicative and ensured we had everything we needed.
