"I stayed here both before and after my Uganda Gorilla safari. I loved the location with Lake Victoria across the dirt road - view from my second floor balcony was gorgeous. The staff always was helpful and very pleasant - they always sent someone to fix things when something did not work which was frequent as property is older. If you can manage with very basic amenities and just want an inexpensive hotel with friendly staff and a postcard view, do stay at Anderita Beach! "

"This was a very nice property with Lake Victoria access. The room was well appointed and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The shuttle driver was there to pick me up at the airport even at a very late hour. My room was ready and waiting. I would stay here again."

"Avoid!! Hotel in great location and should have been nice BUT.... I don't normally write reviews but this place was a nightmare from the start. On my arrival at 10.30pm from the airport, reception showed me to a tiny dark room with no view rather than the double dulux with lake view I'd booked. They told me Expedia had not paid them enough, my booked room wasn't available and this is all I could have - what a scam! The place was empty and the excuse was an obvious lie.
