Youā€™ll love our beautiful, newly renovated cottage by the lake! Outside you'll enjoy a large yard- great to play lawn games, lay in the hammock or recline under the covered porch with a great book! Inside you'll enjoy a spacious living room where you can curl up by the electric fireplace or enjoy a movie together. Full kitchen & separate dining room make sharing meals or playing games indoors easy. For family vacation, personal retreat, or a fishing excursion, this is the perfect spot!!

One bedroom has a king bed, while the other has two twin beds. A pull out couch in the living room accommodates additional guests. We provide all the linens youā€™ll need (bedding for each configuration & towels). (If you need different bed arrangements, there is an option upon request to set up either room as a king bed or as two twins.)

Enjoy a Newly Renovated Kitchen! Oven range, refrigerator, toaster, microwave, and a fully stocked Keurig coffee station are provided. We also provide dishes and utensils.

The dining room has a table that seats four plus two additional seats at the breakfast bar/pass-through. Plenty of space for meals, working on a puzzle or playing board games.

A washer and dryer is also provided for your convenience.

Inside, the living room offers plenty of space for everyone to gather and watch a movie or relax by the fire - perfect for a cooler evening or over the winter time. Stream your favorite show on Netflix, Hulu, Disney Plus (included) or watch one of the provided DVDs!

Outside, there is plenty of space to enjoy. Our fire pit has 6 seats around it. Thereā€™s a large patio table that seats 6 plus some comfortable lounge chairs under the covered porch. We also provide a gas grill outside. Kick back and relax, get competitive with the provided yard games or get comfy in the hammock between two large trees - the perfect place to unwind!!

Laketown Cottage is situated on a quiet street with no thru traffic. It's a short walk to the shops and beach as well as a 325 acre park that offers playgrounds, a splash pad, sports fields, and many other activities. Our cottage is a 2 minute drive to Newfane Marina. Enjoy this unique lake town and all it has to offer, check out the famous Niagara Wine Trail which runs right by here, or visit world-famous Niagara Falls, just a short drive away.

Wonderful stay!

Our family of 4 had the perfect stay. The home is very clean and comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet. Walking distance from the beach and shops. Really couldnā€™t have asked for more! Would definitely stay again and highly recommend.

Cute and cozy cottage

We stayed at the cottage for a week to be here for our sons wedding. It was such a great place to stay. Lindsay did an amazing job staying in communication with us and added special touches that made our stay really great. We found out after the fact that she made the cake for our sons wedding. So on top of staying at their lovely cottage, Lindsay makes really good cakes as well. šŸ˜Š

Lovely!!!

The cottage was so welcoming as we arrived after dark and there were cute, warm lights on the front porch with a porch swing. The cottage was clean and stocked well with towels, dishes, and blankets. The beds with pillow top mattresses were warm and comfy! The location was perfect. We walked to the lake, park, marina, shops, and cute little town every day. Weather was great! We enjoyed the annual car show at Krull Park, drove to Niagara Falls, ate at Reidā€™s and visited the locks in Lockport. We did so much in our 5 days there. And each day the cottage was great to come home to. We were able to do some laundry before we packed to head home to Florida! Lindsay was accessible and communicative.

Wilson Softball Weekend

We had a great time staying in Olcott! We were up there for a softball tournament and we were able to stay at this nice little house that was 10 minutes from the ballfield. I loved that they had games and books on property to occupy ourselves with when we were there. A little trouble with the television, but that is definitely user (me) error. Would definitely stay again!

Very Nice Cottage

The cottage was very pleasant, and clean. It was an ideal location for our group of friends to participate in a fishing derby. The only downside was an empty propane tank with the grill. To be fair, after a long day on the water, it was easier to purchase a tank and take it home with us, rather than try to address it through the app in time for dinner.

Perfect spot if you have plans for fishing or just sightseeing., business or pleasure. everything was close. Nice places to eat. The house was as advertised, and hosts were very accommodating and easy to get ahold of. Would surely stay here again if in the area.

Charming cottage in great location

My wife and I wanted to make her sister's first trip to the United States memorable. Those 3 days were amazing. We did Maid of The Mist, Cave of the Winds, and were able to walk over to the Canada side which my sister in law was not expecting. The little town of Olcott was perfect for us. It was my first time meeting my wife's family and a blessing for sure.

Great cottage! We had plenty of space for 4 adults and one child, it was close to to the marina, very clean, and well-maintained property. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable Olcott/Newfane getaway.

Super cute

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was decorated very cute with a beachy feel. Itā€™s a small house but they definitely use the space wisely. The yard was great for relaxing, and the house was well stocked . They had all of the necessities. Garbage bags, paper towels, coffee, laundry detergent etc. There is a dollar general right next door. Olcott beach is a short walk and there is a few cute shops and restaurants, but the place was a ghost town Thurs when we were there: Sounded like there was more going on during the weekend but we were unable to go. The drive to Niagara Falls was about 40-45 min. Thereā€™s a few wineries in the area along with some u-pick berries and cherries . A park right down the road has a splash pad, b-ball, volleyball, and a few playgrounds which was great for my 6 yr old. The only thing I could recommend is to upgrade the frying pans. I did try to contact the owners twice via the Vrbo app and once via cell, I but did not hear back. Not sure if it was due to cell service or not: we had several issues with our cellular service all weekend. Overall it was great and we would stay here again

Quaint and comfortable cottage

Perfect cottage for relaxing and sightseeing. We loved going to Niagara Falls and then coming back to the quiet of Lake Ontario and Olcott Beach. The house has everything you need and the hosts are super responsive to any questions!
