"This was our second stay at the Halcyon House and when our stay is complete, we always feel a little sad. Both the property and host Marilee are warm and welcoming, and Halcyon feels like home. It is beautiful inside and out and has a well equipped kitchen. The location is quiet and a stones throw to downtown Amador City and a short drive to Sutter Creek and the wine region of Shenandoah Valley. We will definitely return! "

"Gorgeous, isolated chateau surrounded by Lodi Wine country. Home was large, spacious, and immaculate. Well appointed home even with separate wine and champagne glasses!! Dream kitchen, and even in the bunk-room there were high end memory foam beds. Backyard was spectacular with poor, spa, and pickleball court all in good working order. Fire pit and covered al-fresco dining area were bonuses! Among the best places I have stayed, and I have rented >20 homes over the last few years…."

"Pictures don’t do the property justice ;-). Everything about the property was amazing, from the location, to the amenities even the hospitable nature of the host, Del. My friends and family all had an amazing time, so much so, that we are planning to rent at least once a year. We can’t wait to come back. "The house was great. It had all the amenities to spend Thanksgiving and prepare the turkey. All cabinets had labels, very nicely organized and looks beautiful and comfortable. The pool and hot tub looked great but we didn’t use them because we didn’t find the time from all activities. Great hike to Lake Tabeaud and downtown Jackson is historic and very cute. We would stay here again. "
