The Buford Retreat 5 min. from Mall of Georgia

The main level has an open floor with huge high ceilings and one bedroom. The great room is the centerpiece of the home which features large windows, a double-sided fireplace, and a 360 movie cinema. Wake up and enjoy brunch in our country-style breakfast room and dinner in our formal dining room with a beautiful full-size dining table. Our deck offers privacy for relaxing.

The Second level has four additional bedrooms, six beds, and three full bathrooms. The master bedroom has been fully custom-designed with a modern yet high-end resort design. The master bathroom features his and her walk-in closet, double vanity, walk-in shower, and a jet jacuzzi tub.

This home is located in a quiet, well-maintained family suburban community with 24-hour surveillance. It is close to many attractions including The Mall of GA, Lake Lanier, Sugar Hill Golf Club, Top Golf, Main Event, Restaurants, Entertainment, and Shopping.

It was good for our needs
The house is in a nice neighborhood. The house itself is fine, a little dated. We felt like it could have been cleaner. There are no top sheets on the beds and in my room there was one very thin quilt with no extra blankets available. We all were cold at night. No hairdryers available. Very few drink glasses. Code access to get into and lock the door was fine and worked properly. The owner responded prior to our visit in a reasonable time. Overall it was good but not excellent.

Upon arrival, found minimal accommodations - ie - no coffee pot, no top sheet or blanket on any of beds, chairs at Dining Room table were insecure - legs were wobbly and about to collapse, no bath soaps in bathroom, trash was over running outside, front door would not lock sometimes, parking situation was weird. - had to park 3rd vehicle away from house on streettowel rack in o e bathroom loose,no bath mat for bathrooms - risky and slip hazard exiting showers.

Xmas week
Visiting family, there was plenty of room but some were not mentioned. The house is for sale with the sign still in the front. Various defects kept us guessing if this wa a legit place. Broken locks on several doors. No coffee maker, chairs with loose legs, dirty jetted tub, fridge filter needed replacing, several broken tiles, and low water pressure.

Great stay, beautiful house, needs more or better blankets, and a flat sheet. One bathroom was not clean in the toilet area (jack n jill) OTHERWISE it was perfect for our needs.

When you’re done you can resubmit it by clicking the button below. The point of using Vrbo is supposed to provide you with amenities of a hotel while having the convenience of staying in a home. The home had not been cleaned. The toilets and microwave were filthy , the place had bot been vacuumed and it was dusty. We were not provided any towels and had to contact the owner. We were in town for a family reunion and were unable to freshen up to enjoy our Friday evening activities with our families. We all had traveled from other states so we had been traveling all day! Once we received the towels (that night) we only were given 4 wash cloths (which were dirty)and we had 5 adults and 4 children! We were not provided enough toilet paper nor paper towels for our stay and ended up having to buy towels, paper towels, and toilet paper as well as an iron and batteries for the remotes. The property is nice but definitely needs more attention to details before
