So, it feels like a homeKitchen has everything and great appliances Little nook for a desk was perfect ā€¦ has paper, pencils, envelopes, binoculars Bed is fantasticPlace is spotlessLocation perfectYou can hear the river out back and see it if you go out to the chairs.Even tho the owners are right thereā€¦ you look at the back of their garage and you have plenty of privacy. The owners are very nice!The internet is a little slowā€¦ but once Netflix loadsā€¦ it all works Iā€™d definitely stay here again!

Me and my group of 6 total stayed at Codyā€™s house on Big Lake this past weekend and had the best time. The house is cute and feels like a true lake house. It has everything you would need from a grill to kitchen supplies and we absolutely love the bonfire in the backyard. Being able to rent the boat was a major perk and we spent all day out on it for one of our days there. Cody is responsive and super helpful for any of your needs. Overall we had the best time and would definitely return! Would highly recommend

1st Buena Vista Trip

We had an amazing time!! The property owners were wonderful!! we fished on the Arkansas river. The town was adorable!! The little cabin was precious and had everything available that we would ever need would highly recommend this adventure

Great log cabin on the river

Immaculate home and ideal location on the river. Very nicely appointed through out. This place was great and we enjoyed everything about it. No expenses were spared by the owner when furnishing this place. Highly recommend it

Quiet, Cozy Slice of Paradise

Everything was exceptional about the stay, from interacting with Joe to settling into the custom log home. The property is beautiful and provides amazing views out of the two story windows facing the river. It was well-appointed, too, with high-end appliances and tasteful decor. It was cold during our stay, so we utilized the fireplace quite a bit and stayed toasty. A great experience overall!

Beautiful Cabin

The cabin is beautiful, fresh and immaculate. It is decorated like a home (it was the owners home for a while). First class furnishings, appliances, and decor. The Arkansas River runs right behind the property and it is beautiful. Weā€™ll be back in the future.

Riverside Charm

This beautiful cabin is a quiet refuge in the beautiful Buena Vista valley. Located just outside of town beside the Arkansas River, it has easy access to the river and all the multiple recreation options available in the area. Joe was readily available for any needs. I hope to return for another stay in the future.

Bear Tracks - ideal spot in Buena Vista

Looking for a place to be close to all the great outdoor offerings of Buena Vista and the surrounding area - but want a peaceful retreat - then Bear Tracks is a great choice. Know that Joe will make you feel welcome and make sure you are well informed about your stay - and just a phone cal away if you need anything. The cabin is new and well situated 5 minutes from town and 50 yards from the river. Everything you need is in the cabin, sparkling clean and ready for your stay.

Spacious, new, well-appointed

The log cabin looks "rustic" but everything is new and first-class. Beautiful view out the big windows overlooking the canyon and river. Very relaxing. Close to town but very quiet and secluded. I wish I'd booked a longer stay.

Buena Vista cabin of dreams

I stayed in this cabin for 3 days it was a wonderful place to unwind, the cabin is very clean and spacious for itā€™s size. The property manager was awesome, if any problems or concerns ( which there wasnā€™t) arose he was a phone call away. The cabin is very conveniently located to town, the Arkansas River is steps away from back door. This is one of if not the most wonderful cabin I have ever stayed in. I only gave it 5 stars because thatā€™s as high a you can rate it, but this beautiful cabin will have you reaching for all the stars.

Perfect little cabin

The listing for this cabin is spot on. It was definitely a home away from home! The minute you walk into the door itā€™s beautiful and serene! It has all the comforts of home. It is well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, towels, etc. The bed is very comfortable and linens very soft and comfy. We saw wildlife every morning and in the nights we got back around sunset they were there as well! Communication with Joe was very easy. Any questions or concerns he was a phone call away. We only had to call him the day we got there for check in info. Everything else was perfect and we had no issues. I would definitely recommend thus little cabin to anyone looking for something close to town and for the comfort! Also, the Arkansas River runs right by the house. Maybe a 50 yard walk to get to the river. Itā€™s gorgeous even in the winter. Perfect views of mountains. If youā€™re thinking about a place donā€™t look any further. Beautiful cabin, but...

It is listed as "on the river" which it is, but it is nearly impossible to get to the river. It is also located across from the State Pen, that made us more than a bit nervous.
