Romantic Hideaway in Center of Budapest, walking distance to most major sites

The apartment is located in the heart of downtown, but in a quiet street.
Located on the first floor of a beautifully restored old building right next street to the famous shopping street of Downtown Budapest (Vaci street, 5th district). The area has just gone through a major renovation and facelift and is now the most beautiful and up and coming area of the downtown region. Reduced auto traffic and pedestrian only streets all around. The metro stop 'Ferenciek tere' is just 200 m away.
The windows of the apartment look onto an inner romantic courtyard, providing a quiet atmosphere. Cleaned professionally before each guest.
Taxi service available upon request to and from airport (EUR 35.-)/one way.
Price includes all costs (cleaning, internet, heating, etc), there's nothing extra to be paid. The calendar is always up to date, you can book your dates right away.

Stepping out of the building you will find restaurants, wine bars, shops.
With a few minute walk you will reach the famous Central Market (Vasarcsarnok on Fovam ter), from there walk across the bridge over the Danube to reach Gellert bath all within 15 minutes. If you want to walk the other direction, you will reach the Basilica and the Opera within 15 minutes seeing beautiful buildings, shops, restaurants on the way or you can take the metro for 1 stop.

I will provide you with a 'house manual' that will make your life easier with a list of recommended restaurants and I will be personally happy to assist you on your way to explore Budapest.

I recommend this place for 2 persons who like to be where there's lots to see and yet able to retreat to a quiet hideaway after a long day of sightseeing, shopping..

Perfectly located stay in Budapest
Fabulous little apartment in central Budapest. Well located to trams, shops, supermarkets, cafes/restaurants and walking distance to many sights. The apartment is small but has all the amenities to you need for a happy stay. Communication with host was very easy. Would happily recommend to family/friends and would happily stay here again. :)

Nice flat in great location
Property is exactly as per the advert. Brilliant location in central Budapest. Walking distance to most attractions. The owner met us when we arrived which was a nice touch. Flat has everything you need, is very quiet being set off a courtyard. Very good internet connection too.

Beautiful place
Absolutely wonderful apartment. Ideal for you and a partner. The place is located just far enough away from the hustle and bustle to be a peaceful experience but close enough to walk to the local market place for a meal/beer/coffee. The world class public transport is a short walk in either direction and you will get anywhere you want to in the city.

Very quaint apartment. Great location for access to all tourist stuff. Andrew was so helpful with various requests, he was fantastic.Wish there was a balcony to sit with view, so as to have glass of wine and people watch.

A Lovely flat in a GREAT location
This location is perfect for Budapest. In the middle of great restaurants and cafes, just a few hundred yards from the Metro station. There are a few stores nearby that have all you need. The owner was FANTASTIC to work with, and the check in procedure could not have been easier. They are renovating the building, so It will be even more beautiful in the future. The space was just right for us two, but any more would be a squeeze. The apartment is accessible via a spiral staircase, no problem for us, but keep in mind. I will ask to stay there again, the next time we are in Budapest.

Romantic Hideaway in Budapest
The apartment was compact, but sufficient as you don't spend much time inside in a city like Budapest! The location was excellent. It was a bit of a struggle to get our large (river cruise) suitcases inside and up that one flight of stairs, but once inside it was sufficient. The kitchen had all you needed. Bath was compact, but we are not large people. Owner was great.

The property was lovely and convenient to activities and restaurants. Going up one flight of stars with suitcases was a struggle, but that was only once. Very quiet and comfortable. Host was able to set up a cab for a 3:30 am departure. Throughly enjoyed the stay.

Excellent location, comfortable apartment
This is my second stay at this apartment, which should tell you something already. Once again I found the place to be clean, quiet, well positioned in the city (just a few blocks from the Great Market Hall). The owner is helpful and checks in -- I really appreciated that he scheduled a driver for pickup and dropoff at the airport, especially given that my flight left Budapest at 7:30 am. If you have trouble with stairs, there might be an issue, though it's on the first floor (second if you're not from Europe). I give it five stars.

Perfekter Aufenthalt !!
Das Apartment ist unglaublich zentral. Geräumig. Sauber. Leise. Der Vermieter sehr nett. Sehr zuvorkommend. Wir konnten sogar erst später raus. Alles da. Zwei Platten Herd. Mikro. Kühlschrank. Sogar Waschmaschine , die wir tatsächlich auch genutzt haben. Wir waren begeistert. 5 Minuten zur Vaci Utca. Einkaufen, Restaurants, Bars, Supermarkt, Apotheke .. Alles locker zu Fuß zu erreichen. Und trotzdem leise, weil die Wohnung im Hof ist. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder !!

very charming place to stay
The location is wonderful, very close to Ferenciak Tere, and the property owner stays in excellent communication. I found the apartment clean and comfortable, and the small kitchen had everything I needed. I would recommend this apartment to those who can manage a set of spiral stairs.

Americans in Budapest
This was our first stay in this lovely city. Andrew’s place is very close to multiple landmarks, loved the walking/shopping streets nearby. The bathroom is quite small so if you’re big, you’ll have trouble getting on the shower. We had a flight out later in the day and Andrew let us keep our bags there even after the apartment was cleaned, so we were very grateful for that. He was available via phone/text very quickly. The studio apartment is cozy but a perfect size since we weren’t there much during the day anyway. We did a dinner cruise on the Danube and it was great to see the city all lit up from the river. Overall, a great weekend stay. Thanks Andrew!

A good and central place to stay.
It suited me as a solo traveller, but the property is very small indeed. Two would have felt like a crowd! I didn't need to do any cooking - lots of restaurants and cafes nearby, and a useful supermarket on the corner for bread and fresh fruit and milk etc. It was rather dark inside the property - lighting was essential. In the evenings, the curtains seemed a little inadequate. The bed and cupboards were generously proportioned. Andrew Nemeth was a very caring and well-organised host and generously left a bottle of rose wine, which I really enjoyed. Thank you very much for that, and also for arranging lifts to and from the airport with the very amiable Laszlo.

Andrew's apartment was in the perfect to walk to everything we were interested in...Great Market Hall, Gellert Baths, 3 main bridges, Vaci Street. Andrew's recommendation of Hop on Hop off bus was great! Apartment had everything we needed and it was a very pleasant stay. Highly recommend.

In the heart of Budapest!
Andrew the property manager was awesome. He spoke perfect English thanks to his time at University if Ottawa. He was also very helpful with getting around the city. Bathroom could use some sprucing up but other than that a terrific place to stay in Budapest!

Perfect location
From instructions, to wine to being extremely accommodating, Andrew was amazing. The apartment is small but extremely charming, with everything we needed. And out our front door everything is right there. Budapest is a must see city and no better place to be than this apartment!
